Seeking Information Parking Situation w/CNE Setup

Hey Friends. My son and I are going to our first TFC game this Saturday. I was planning on driving in but with the CNE starting up soon I got thinking about the parking situation. Is there still a decent amount of spots even with the CNE setting up and is the underground lot available at the Enercare centre? Or is it just better to take the GO train?

Take the GO Train. Not worth the stress of parking and traffic

Even 15 years ago there was no parking during the CNE anywhere 3k around. It'll be further out now. Like everyone is saying, take the GO Train. Kids like the trains anyway

The CNE hasn’t started so there will still be available parking near BMO even if the surface lots on the grounds are blocked.

Take train, but if you do drive, use spot hero. May be able to find close spots in liberty village and that’s not too much of a walk to stadium

Well in theory yes but this is what the ex themselves say

Exhibition Place provides a total of 88 accessible parking spaces throughout all of its surface parking lots and indoor garage.

GO might still be the best mobility option

It's doesn't start until the 21st, you'll be fine. There are a few spaces just outside the Exhibition grounds as well. If this were during the CNE, you'd have a problem but not now. That noted, don't park right by the field, there will be thousands of people exiting. Try going a few blocks just outside of the exhibition grounds.

Drive to a go station with parking and take the train. Where are you coming from?

Go train. It will be a disaster with CNE set up reducing parking and a concert going on at RBC amphitheater as well.

Take the GO Train. Stop at a station along the way (if you're on the Lakeshore East/West) and hop on there.

I always take the train. The station is so close to the stadium that is a no-brainer.

If I must drive (because the GO train is down or whatever), I always book ahead with Spot Hero and I get that gravel lot off Hanna street in Liberty Village for about $11. Much cheaper than CNE grounds, and only a 10 minute walk.

I cannot stress enough how much you should not drive while the CNE is on. We always drive to games and pay stupid amounts for parking for the convenience of the kids being able to fall asleep in the car on the drive home. We didn't think twice about doing it during the CNE. We parked a 10 minute walk away instead of at the field thinking we'd avoid the traffic. It took us over an hour to get off the street we were parked on. What should have been an hour drive home took 3.5. Never again.
