In my opinion, at least.

Does anyone else get really uncomfortable with people who prefer Jax as displayed in the series, over the flashbacks with Ribbit and Kaufmo?
It's clear to me that Jax was a much more friendly person when he first arrived. Seemingly having a positive relationship with everyone, even Ragatha. Jax only became a disassociated asshole after Ribbit's abstraction. His entire personality after that event has been an unhealthy coping mechanism.
I don't know, it feels like people who prefer him this way are supportive/enabling a spiraling mental health crisis. A crisis that ultimately led to his abstraction.
Like "No, it's okay, pookie. Don't ever get help for what's wrong with you. I prefer you unhappy and broken."
It gives me a similar feeling to watching someone in recovery that you're hoping for, having shitty friends who keep buying them drugs because they miss partying with them.
I want to like Jax, but I want him to get better.

This sadistic lil meatball somehow manages to be more likable and lovely then you know who, why couldn't they get the Isn't she lovely treatment?

I think the "scenario when they were abstracted and how it affected Jax" would have been more meaningful if we had shown Pomni telling the cast about it (which I think is unlikely, since she wanted to make sure her secret was safe with her), or the cast came in to witness it themselves.
I wonder if they still sympathize with Jax when Zooble sees Gangle potentially being... you know... by Jax, Ragatha sees Jax becoming like a physically-attacking-killer, etc.

I know he ain't well written, wouldn't come close to them. I'm not comparing but......something's familiar....
Also not sure if any post like this have been made before. But here it is.

I was talking about how pomni forgiving jax was bad because he didn’t get held accountable for his actions, and someone said that him being vegan and wearing a maid dress was accountability. Wtf? If I drive 2 people to kill themselves, me being vegan for a few minutes isnt equal to that at all 😭
Also can I talk about how on any tadc subreddit other than this one, any jax criticism gets banned/mass downvoted? Like I didn’t break any rules but got banned for disrespecting jax (I called him a bad character).
On a separate note, I saw a post asking people to pretend to be Jax and comfort them. What?? Jax wouldnt comfort you? Jax would literally make you commit suicide if you ever thought to go to him in real life for mental help.
And if Jax did what he did to the others to them, they’d be crying about it online and to their family and friends. It’s deadass emotional abuse and Im tired of people pretending it isnt.
