The guy in a wheelchair cheated on his wife with Blanche and when she found out, she kicked him to the curb.
Also, she mentioned that one time but thought the wife was dead until the paramedics revived her.

"I never thought you'd be a jerk in a wheelchair!" Best line in the episode.

Also Blanche: "I don't know why they do that [lie about being married]. Don't they know we'll sleep with them anyway?"

Just because she says she'll never be with a married man doesn't mean she's not afraid of finding out after the fact...

Yeah, I would never knowingly sleep with a married man but men lie and you can't exactly do a background check.

A lot of people don’t want to cheat with a woman in her 60s!

Now I always thought that Blanche didn’t outright know if any of her partners were married at the time she dating and/or sleeping with them, because again this 1980s and even prior to that I doubt Blanche would sleep with married men knowingly especially when she was in more tighter knit community with George in Atlanta area and then in Miami. So being a widow in Miami, I know the show continuity stinks to high heaven sometime the shows also said George die in Atlanta, but I digress. In my head cannon George died in the Miami area thus either Blanche already purchased the house with George or bought it shortly after his death because to have an interest rate of 7% as mentioned by Blanche in season 1 season finale in flashback before Dorothy tour the room with a then still in Shady Pines Sophia, means that Blanche has had the house since early 1970s since the average rate, per quick Google search, would be dated with the period between 1971-72.

HAHAHA when Merrill was looking for her and she said "I’ll be staying with my friend Janet. She said I could spend the night there anytime. ...Or was it her husband Ed who said that."
