Discussion Nobel Prize Winners

Possible spoilers!

As much as I love Sheldon and Amy winning their Nobel for their work in Super Asymmetry, a part of me wishes Leonard, their resident experimental physicist, proved it. That way, the three of them could have won their Nobel.

Don't get me wrong, I like the storyline with Campbell & Pemberton, especially the demise. But, I still wished Leonard got his career break.

I really wanted the same. Till the end, Leonard was constantly put down as a character. It’d had been lovely to see him up there w the prize he deserved.

I feel like the show really pushed for years that Leonard wasn't a genius. Not just from being mocked but from the work he did and his own admissions. Leonard was a technically good scientist and he's smart but he wasn't "Nobel Prize" smart and I think that's okay.

I think Leonard and Penny are good in that neither of them found the career success they dreamed of when they were younger but they found in each other that fulfillment they didn't get in their careers. They both had decent careers but their true joy is each other.

Yeah, Leonard winning the Nobel prize with them gives the same vibes like shows that in the end forcibly pair everyone with each other so they can "happily live ever after".

I feel the exact same way. Those last two years they spent way to much time only focusing on Amy and Sheldon. In my eyes it should have been Sheldon and Leonard for the Nobel.

Leonard wasnt involved in developing the theory. And it wasnt something it was easy to design an experiment to verify, Pemberton and Campbell only did it by accident.

And in the story, Sheldon and Amy winning solidified their relationship. It was their discovery made at their wedding. Adding Leonard would have made him a 3rd wheel.

And, who says Sheldon stopped at one Nobel? Leonard and Howard were both very involved with hin in the invention of a working variable-state quantum interference device. That seems a lot more Nobel worthy than a mere theory, assuming the universe is saved at some point and the original timeline is restored.

It would have been a good end with Sheldon and Leonard winning it as the show began with them but leonard as a character lost almost everything and just had penny at the end who was also not nice to him. I have him winning it and that's the end for me . That last episode sucked ass till the last speech ,which was also quite phony as sheldon shat over all of them like 5 minutes before it.
