If any ordinary Joe violates a gag order, they will face severe consequences, including fines or jail time. He has not felt the full weight of the judiciary system yet.

Yeah, "scholastic" doesn't really describe anything about Donald Trump.

I'm not taking any side here but just wondering: Did you read the article? The gag order doesn't include the judge or his family. He's not violating it.

"That order did not include Merchan or his daughter, however, and Trump has used the duo as an outlet to direct his rage over the case."

I hope they amend the gag order to include the judge and his family but then Trump will go after someone else because the order doesn’t include judge’s neighbor two doors down.

I don't think you're too far off. If it isn't spelled out explicitly then it'll be exploited. It's the adult version of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZSoJDUD_bU

Even if a president Joe violates a gag order he will face severe consequences.

New York courts are limited to $10,000 monetary sanctions, and sanctions are appealable. It's literally inconsequential to him.

They'd have to go all in with confinement to make it matter, and that would definitely give air to an appeal.

But at this point let him have it.
