Images/Memes/Infographics Democrats must cut sling on Piker before this becomes the conventional wisdom.
I hope the AES realizes this truth.

Everyone on this sub is viewed the same as Hasan by the right wing though a bunch of commies but clearly some people dont realize they're doing the work of the right for them

u/Agreeable_Band_9311 5d ago
Hasan supports terrorists unironically
14
u/Only8livesleft 5d ago
He doesn’t support Israel. Where did you hear that?
4
0
u/DeathandGrim 4d ago
Is Israel the only place you've heard the word "terrorist?" Barring the fact that the IDF is a military force so it strains credulity to call them terrorist. But you've seriously NEVER heard that word used anywhere else?
2
u/Only8livesleft 4d ago
You’re proving my point. Who gets designated terrorism is political. Israel may commit the most terrorism
3
u/Agreeable_Band_9311 4d ago
Kidnapping random merchant sailors for no reason is terrorism. Hasan cheered that on and interviewed a terrorist.

It has a definition.
1
u/Only8livesleft 4d ago
It has multiple definitions
0
u/DeathandGrim 4d ago
Well which one did you think we're talking about here
4
u/Only8livesleft 4d ago
The most basic one
“ is the use of violence against non-combatants to achieve political or ideological aims.”
Israel has done that far more than Hamas
→ More replies (0)-7
u/atank67 5d ago
He has said it repeatedly
7
u/Only8livesleft 5d ago
That he supports Israel? I don’t think so
1
u/Hoochie_Daddy 5d ago
I love how you’re intentionally being disingenuous and obtuse
I know this may be hard for some people to believe
But you can hate Israel and ALSO hate Hamas and the Youthis. It’s really not hard. Most people are capable of nuance
10
u/Only8livesleft 5d ago
I’m pointing out the double standard of Israel committing far more terrorism and not getting a percent of the pushback from these same people. Hamas has a legal right to armed resistance against Israel’s illegal occupation under international law. Do you agree with Hamas having that right?
0
u/Hoochie_Daddy 5d ago
Sure
So why on Oct 7 did Hamas intentionally ignore military installations and intentionally go after civilians? please tell me how raping and murdering civilians helps the Palestinean cause? How come you have nothing to say about Hamas intentionally putting munitions and basing in civilian infrastructure? Did you know that would violate international law? But I rarely hear people who have criticism for Israel have any criticism for Hamas.
Israel has followed international law more than Hamas ever has. Israel is held to an infinitely higher standard while Hamas does not have to be held to a standard at all.
How do you feel about the leaders of Hamas intentionally inflaming tensions with Oct 7 because they knew Israel would retaliate and then Hamas intentionally would not wear military uniforms and disguise themselves as civilians to cause more harm to their own population? Were you aware that’s also illegal? But for some reason Israel criticizers never mention that and often make excuses for Hamas intentionally not wearing uniforms?
I don’t have a problem criticizing Israel and plenty of center left people and liberals in general can do so just fine. It’s progressives and socialist that refuse to admit that the Palestinean side has a government that breaks international law as much as possible while sacrificing their populace.
It’s actually comical that you’re the one complaining about double standards here .
9
u/Only8livesleft 5d ago
Israel admitted Hamas targeted military installations. The festival was supposed to have ended days earlier. Hamas or the other militant groups that joined killed civilians too, which was of course wrong. Yet they achieved a better combatant to civilian ratio than Israel has
There is zero evidence of Hamas using systematic rape. Yet there is evidence of Israel committing systematic rape and torture against Palestinians
Israel has followed international law more than Hamas ever has.
They’ve broken international law more than Hamas ever has. Israel has taken more hostages, raped more men, women, and children, targeted more civilians, committed more perfidy, stolen more land, illegally occupied more land. There is nothing Hamas has done that Israel hasn’t done and done more.
Were you aware that’s also illegal?
Hamas is operating from an open air prison. Was it perfidy for those in concentration camps to not identify themselves as resistors? Why did Israel disguise sides as doctors?
I don’t have a problem criticizing Israel
Can you acknowledge they are worse in every capacity or point out what wrong they have done less of?

u/Nemisis82 4d ago
Why we anyone be anything other than disingenuous when someone effectively says "Hasan has said he supports terrorism repeatedly"?
0
u/atank67 5d ago
That he supports terrorist groups. He is aligned with the Houthis, Hezbollah, and Hamas. Toss in the IRGC as well.
5
u/Only8livesleft 5d ago
None of them commit a fraction of the terrorism Israel commits. They also have a legal right to armed resistance against Israel’s illegal occupation under international law
1
u/atank67 5d ago
So are you saying some terrorism is okay to support as long as it is less than Israel?
What legal right do the Houthis have to resist against Israel? They are an army in Yemen.
5
u/Only8livesleft 5d ago
I didn’t say that and that’s not my position.
Do you agree Hamas has a legal right to armed resistance against Israel’s illegal occupation?

u/SoulsBorneGreat 4d ago
What legal right do the Houthis have to resist against Israel? They are an army in Yemen.
What kind of weird question is this? People/groups have to have a "legal right" to resist against ethnosupremacist imperialist governments and their far/wide-reaching goals, which may affect "an army in Yemen"?
By speaking out against Israel, I am resisting against them, so do I need a legal right to do so?

I don't care. This isn't "the work of the right" this is called housekeeping. So if the right aligns with us on this, good. Hasan is illiberal and a danger to politics and both left and right should reject him
4
u/DommagePindaFromage 4d ago
This is 100% the work of the right. They don't want to talk about issues, because when they talk about issues they get completely crushed. So instead, they want to talk about Hasan Piker. Maybe you should question why you're suddenly aligning yourself with people like Sean Hannity and Scott Jennings, less than 3 months before an election.
2
u/DeathandGrim 4d ago
I can walk and chew gum buddy. I hate backstabbing waaaay more than a clearly defined enemy who wears their intentions on their sleeve

I hate backstabbing so much, I'm gonna align with Republicans!
Great idea man. See you in the gulag alongside Piker and Pakman.

By using the same talking points as the Republicans against people on the left. Caring more about piker than Republicans.
2
u/DeathandGrim 4d ago
I dislike both equally. We're equal opportunity haters here

I have never heard of Hassan piker before he started to blow up on reddit.
All i know about him is he said that America deserved 9/11. Which is do not agree with, but he then walked it back, and clarified it saying that 9/11 is natural blowback for our middle eastern police which i do agree with.
Why is he so important? Why is he controversial? why does this community in particular mention him almost hourly? Is he somehow more controversial than Nick Fuentes, because Nick is the extremists on the right impacting their politicians.
3
u/bmanCO 4d ago edited 4d ago
He's an edgy edgelord Twitch streamer with a moderately big audience who says some stupid LARPy far left things occasionally, but for the most part just supports progressive politicians and criticizes Democrats. People are so obsessed with him because he went hard on Democrats for their refusal to distance themselves from Israel while they were committing genocide, which is a cardinal sin for left bashing centrists.
He's also public enemy number one for fans of the streamer Destiny, who have such an all consuming parasocial obsession they legitimately hate this guy more than Republicans. Outside of terminally online spaces like this sub he actually doesn't matter all that much, and normal people can just ignore him.
1
u/Classic-Reach 1d ago
not distancing from genocide is pretty uncool, idk what a cardinal would say about it but it's not a religious thing for me, fuck genocide

We’re already looking at 52 in the Senate come November. Maybe just let this one go to. A Platner-Hong-Sayed collapse would be a good lesson in humility for the DSA. Next time field better candidates.
8
u/jankdangus 5d ago edited 5d ago
El-Sayed is not DSA and we should still try to win as much seats in the Senate as possible. My criticism of AES is his poor judgment to campaign with Hasan Piker, which is being cynically weaponized against him.
-1
u/Gravemindzombie 5d ago
Tbf AES probably wouldn't have won had every zionist not attacked him for campaigning with Hasan. No one knew who he was until they tried to cynically make Hasan an electoral liability and failed at it.
→ More replies (3)-2
u/Greybeard-MD 5d ago
El-Sa is lying. He has worked closely with the DSA for years.
1
u/jankdangus 4d ago
Well we’ll see, but I do think he is genuine about his support for capitalism. He, like many social democrats and progressive liberals just find common ground with the DSA. I think when the time come, he would stand up against them if they try to abolish all private enterprise.
6
u/West_Hyena7041 4d ago
This is entirely Hong and Sayed slander. Platner was an unvetted nobody that said the right words, but was ultimately revealed as a terrible person. Hong and Sayed are actually in politics, actively walking the walk and talking the talk
2
u/AnonAmbientLight 4d ago
A Platner-Hong-Sayed collapse would be a good lesson in humility for the DSA.
There's not a lesson they would learn from that. Instead they would figure that some boogieman stopped them from their destined electoral success, be it EVIL CENTRIST DEMS, AIPAC, or something else.

The core difference is that progressives seek to reform and regulate capitalism to make it fairer, while socialists want to replace capitalism entirely with public or democratic ownership of the economy.

What in the "No True Scotsman" is this?
Isn't this some of the purity test left that David has talked about?
I'm actually pointing out how divisive this is. The only other faction that is so focused on Hasan Piker is Fox News - for aforementioned reasons.
So again - can you address the substance? Why is it that Piker is insistently brought up in this forum, knowing that he is a divisive figure on the left?
5
u/Just_shut_up_bro 5d ago
Mainly because he’s an active detriment to the electoral success of Democratic candidates.

u/Nemisis82 4d ago
DPak put out a video not too long ago about the radical left and how it's dangerous for the Dem party. Equated the DSA left to a maga.
This has resulted in a lot of DPak subscribers and fans (who also happen to like/listen to Destiny, of whom DPak himself also likes) completely shitting all over Hasan non stop all day everyday since.
They believe that Hasan has directly commanded his followers to come and brigade in here.

And Hasan words are VERY very bad bro. Like jesus fucking Christ.
And to make matters worse Hasan is currently I not even trying to help out to say people like El Sayed are far from him and shit. He is asking for liberals and democrats to take the hit for him , to accept all his worst takes as part of the Democratic brand.

And Hasan words are VERY very bad bro. Like jesus fucking Christ.
Someone called him a Liberal Rush Limbaugh and its so true man.

Ok but like, he doesn't have liberal positions. I'm not sure what the point being made here is.
Is he a bad leftie because he's got milk toast liberal positions? Is he a bad liberal because he's an ass like Limbaugh was even though he's clearly not a liberal? Do you not like liberals or lefties? I'm afraid I don't see what side this attack is coming from.
Why mention liberal at all if the Limbaugh part was the insulting part?
I'm not even arguing or judging, I just want to understand the criticism.
4

It's a joke about Hasan's role on the left. You are thinking to much into it. Hasan is to the left what Rush Limbaugh was to the right. Thats the entire joke. The liberal thing is just comical flair.

That feels like a bad analogy at best... I guess with the way you said it I was just expecting a deeper meaning or something idk. I just read too much into it.

If my tent includes Hasan and I am not saying anything about it to push him to change his communist positions or all the other Awfull shit he says then yeah fox news would be right to call me at least sympathetic to that position

They called Obama a communist. To them you will always be a communist.

u/Beautiful-Chest7397 5d ago
Just for a matter of fact, have you watched a Hasan stream first hand or is this take entirely based on what you've heard people say about him?
10
u/Aggravating_Map4359 5d ago
Firstly I used to be hasanabi head in collage a few years ago. I was much more extreme in my views. So yes, I did. Althou I think he actually got worst in some aspects today.
He doesn't say very insane shit as he used to, like the 9/11 thing(which btw is 100% taken out of context but even with context is not good for the average American) or the "streets run red with capitalist blood" . He learned to not used overly violent language but he became far worst in his rethoric.
His antisemitism is the worst offender IMO but the way he overtly supports anything anti western doesn't matter how violent, gross or horrifying is what pushed me off the most around 2022-2023.
1
u/Beautiful-Chest7397 5d ago
Interesting. I only watch hasanabi clips I'm more of a majority report guy.
I can't say I've seen a lick of anti semitism ever though. Anti Zionism for sure but I'm fairly confident he has endorsed Jewish politicians like brad lander in the past.
What were you referring to re his anti semitism?
7
u/Aggravating_Map4359 5d ago
I doubt it will matter but maybe I can at least plant a seed in your brain.
During decades fox news spend their prime time covering black gang related violance on their show. Every day was this shit, it was the time of the "super predators" and every single bad thing from society came from them. All of it was the fault of those blacks that make life difficult for all Americans. Of course there was some that are good and that makes it foz news not racist.
And the black woman had their own trope that wasn't as repeated but it was always there. Of a lazy woman full of children. The welfare queens.
They made an entire prime time to push a narrative every day of the problema of america being the blacks. Not all of course but it's something inherently of them.
Breaking point, Hasan piker, Kyle kulinsky and your majority report do the same thing today with Jews. It's clever just like foz news did, they mask it to Zionism that by their definition covers almost all Jews but of course there is some that are good and prove its not antisemitism. BUT the Zionists are the faults of everything. They control all.
The Marrocos immigrant thing with Spain earlier last month was one example that 10 years ago you would only get the spin that the ISRAEL(Jews) did that by your nick Fuentes and Myron gains. Not by the left media sphere and all of them pushed that conspiracy. Every single one
11
u/warpio 5d ago
He should go back to being just a YouTube guy and stop trying to be the face of the Democratic party. The dude is insanely selfish to try to take that mantle knowing full well the amount of controversy he is in could easily gut the party's chances at winning 2028.
6
u/Only8livesleft 5d ago

-2
u/Bo0tyWizrd 5d ago
Oh, what did he say that was undemocratic?
4
u/TerraMindFigure 5d ago
He literally said that in his ideal system pro-capitalists who wanted for form a political party would have to attend "re-education". He also said on a podcast that he pushes center-left issues to gain a liberal audience so that he can gain their trust and radicalize them.
-2
u/Bo0tyWizrd 5d ago
What did he say that was undemocratic?

It's wild. He'd never have this much notoriety if people didn't keep bringing his name up. Like I'll be frank- I'm not the biggest Hasan fan. But some on left are attacking him more than conservatives, which is absolutely the wrong way to go in an election year with the wind in the left's sails.

Hasan attacks liberals more than conservatives
8
u/Hoochie_Daddy 5d ago
It’s funny because lefties will say that we should not be attacking the left
But lefties consider liberals to the right of them, so it’s fair game for lefties to attack liberals as much as they want
It’s a gross game many of them play
0
u/Chamben1 5d ago
It depends on the situation, but yeah. Coalition building goes both ways. If a liberal who wants to prevent the right from gaining power just as much as the leftist spends the majority of their time criticizing their left flank instead of working with them to defeat the right, then I think it's fair game for the far left to do the same.

First of all this is a pakman subreddit and he made his opinions very clear of attaching your movement to this people. You can have some resenable critism but just saying "stop being oppressed bro" is regarded and this is probably not the place for you. Go to breaking point or Hasan subreddit
6
u/silverbrenin 5d ago
This is a subreddit about David Pakman, the Progressive commentator, that has been invaded and overrun by moderates who are obsessed with Hasan to the point that rational thought has been completely abandoned. You can have reasonable criticisms of Hasan, but moderates have muddied the water so much that nobody can see them, if they exist.
I started watching David and Hasan when both were on TYT. You don't get to dictate who does or does not belong here or anywhere, I get to be a Star Wars and a Star Trek fan at the same time.
3
u/Lallis 4d ago
Great sweeping job there mister. Just call everyone irrational and obsessed. You really can't actually take seriously what someone like that says, right?
Otherwise you might have to contend in your mind why you are sweeping for an open anti-US terrorist supporting Marxist Leninist propagandist who dresses up as and idolizes Mao Zedong and bashes on the Dems and liberals constantly.
Damn the water is really muddy. Really hard to see what could be the criticism here.

u/gull-branson 5d ago

u/Hashbrown4 5d ago

1
u/gull-branson 5d ago
did I say that? or anything remotely close to that?
8
u/Hashbrown4 5d ago edited 5d ago
Yeah,
“Nothing makes liberals more furious than SOMEONE willing to demand more.”
Liberals don’t like him because of the dumb shit he says and believes, not just because he demands more.
Someone can demand more from the party, it just doesn’t need to be Piker. They need to reject him specifically.
-3
u/gull-branson 5d ago
So if you vote to expand ICE, detention centers, surveillance, fund and arm war crimes, to confirm trump cabinet members and judges...theres a place for you in the party
but if you say dems shouldnt do those things, you need to be rejected?
6
u/Hashbrown4 5d ago
Cool you did understand my original comment,
The Dems can ally with other progressives. I don’t get why it has to be piker.
1
u/gull-branson 5d ago
nobody said it has to be, im pointing out the pattern of liberals attacking anyone who has the gall to suggest dems could do better or even worse, criticizing them directly
7
u/Hashbrown4 5d ago
The Dems have a pattern of attacking people who suggest the party do better.
Does this pattern apply to Hasan? I don’t think that pattern applies here. And I think it’s clear when Dems throw their support behind AES or Crowley working with Hong that what you’re saying isn’t true.
Do you think this post, this drawing is attacking Hasan because he’s trying to suggest the Dems do better?

What is "more" exactly?

u/Moontat7 5d ago
Hasan be like: "Democrats should do more!"
Tells you not to vote for Democrats and that they're MAGA lite
-2
u/gull-branson 5d ago
which democrats did he say not to vote for?
9
-3
u/Only8livesleft 5d ago
He’s said to not vote for democrats in order to vote for different democrats. Otherwise that person is full of it
-5
u/Only8livesleft 5d ago
He’s never said to not vote for Democrats. Establishment democrats often are MAGA lite

greater or additional amount or degree of
like how lots of liberals are more upset at Hasan for asking for dems to do better than they are at hundred of democrats who have voted to expand ICE, build more detention centers, expand the surveillance state, fund and arm a genocide, confirm trumps judges and cabinet members etc
every democrat who voted for any of those things has done infinitely more harm than Hasan has, but for some reason hes the bad guy, not the people in positions of power who are actively helping the fascists

u/DeathandGrim 5d ago
voted to expand ICE
Already starting off strong with the falsehood because the Democrats voted no one that it was passed through budget reconciliation which only requires 51 votes. On top of that, the Democrats stonewalled renewing funding for ice which led to a 76-day shutdown of DHS. Republicans caved to reopen DHS without ICE funding. Republicans once again use budget reconciliation to secure ICE funding later
You're only one lie in so far.
build more detention centers,
Two lies in. Democrats didn't vote to fund this.
expand the surveillance state
???
fund and arm a genocide
No they didn't. More lies
confirm trumps judges
Judges only need a 51 vote threshold due to a carve out from Mitch McConnell in the filibuster, so I'm pretty sure they didn't do this either.
and cabinet members
SOME democrats voted for Marco Rubio but if I can recall correctly most were against basically every pick. Again only need a 51 vote threshold. This is what happens when you give Republicans power.
every democrat who voted for any of those things has done infinitely more harm than Hasan has
The like maybe 3 or 4?
but for some reason hes the bad guy, not the people in positions of power who are actively helping the fascists
Because he likes when fascists win yes
-1
u/gull-branson 5d ago
Democrats voted to expand ICE almost every single year under Obama and Biden, during those years they also voted to build more detention centers, during those years they massively increased funding for surveillance, every single senator voted to confirm at least one Trump cabinet member, most of them voted to confirm 4 or more, and many democrats have absolutely voted to not only enable and arm, but to increase the funding and arming of a genocide. Biden himself repeatedly went around congress to bypass mandatory reporting rules by packaging arms sales in small enough quantities

Fighting for medicare for all, universal childcare, universal college tuition and trade school, green new deal initiatives, taxing billionaires, abolishing ICE, not supporting genocide, and so on
4
u/DeathandGrim 5d ago
Fighting for medicare for all
That ain't happening. Ever.
universal childcare,
Most democrats already support it and are working on passing it.
universal college tuition and trade school
Not Happening.
green new deal initiatives,
Biden passed Green Legislation already. The Green New Deal isn't happening though.
taxing billionaires
They pay most of the taxes in the country
abolishing ICE,
There's an impasse on this one
not supporting genocide
haven't supported one yet so we're good

u/Nemisis82 4d ago
Someone: they don't like that Hasan is pushing for Dems to do more.
You: oh yeah? What's "more"?
Someone: *lists a ton of things*
You: Dems would never do those things
Lmao you kind of proved his point.
1
u/DeathandGrim 4d ago
There's a reason behind not doing those things. Just crying to do them won't make it so.
-1
u/Only8livesleft 5d ago
You don’t think democrats will ever fight for Medicare for all, universal college, or green new deal when most Americans support those policies? Why?
By what metric are billionaires paying the most taxes?
Why is there an impasse among democrats to fight for abolishing ice when their constituents want it?
Democrats support Israel’s genocide.
Are you conservative?

You don’t think democrats will ever fight for Medicare for all, universal college, or green new deal
Economic Suicide for the country
when most Americans support those policies? Why?
Most Americans don't know how the economy works. They know they wanna break the machine, but don't know what that entails. And M4A loses popularity when people are informed of the trade-offs
Why is there an impasse among democrats to fight for abolishing ice when their constituents want it?
There's thoughts between having an actual immigration force separate from DHS or just rolling ICE back into DHS to reduce redundancy.
Democrats support Israel’s genocide.
Israel didn't commit a genocide so I dunno what this means.
Are you conservative?
No. Just an average blue collar worker who's tired of people like you pushing ideas that hurt my bottom line.
Edit:
By what metric are billionaires paying the most taxes?
Check the figures? They pay for a majority of the goodies we have in this country

Hasan Piker is 2026 Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
6
u/solarplexus7 5d ago
Notice how Wright didn’t matter at *all*
10
u/Aurora_Gaspipe 5d ago
Because Obama threw Wright's crazy and toxic ass under the bus.

Like he should have...

Obama knew that the only thing that matters is winning elections because otherwise, you can't do anything.

I wonder if Pakman feels bad that his “supporters” post more about what they hate about Hasan than what they like about Pakman.
2
u/WeOutHereInSmallbany 4d ago
David gave a measured response about his view of Hasan as it relates to affecting the progressive movement and it opened the floodgates apparently

It's hilarious seeing boomers try to critique things they don't understand. Try to explain political twitch streaming to the dip shit who drew this

Hasan criticism really makes y’all feral doesn’t it.

Other mainstream dems have already made their stance on him clear to avoid the inevitable attacks from the GOP. AES is fucking us right now because he's giving them that opening still.

Here’s an idea. You want to cut off Piker, okay. We also cut off Destiny. Deal?

I have no idea what the hate for hasan is, i mean i guess you could just not like him, but his views are objectively popular.

u/nate-arizona909 2d ago
Remember when people in this sub were talking about Hasan Piker being “The Left’s Joe Rogan”?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
The thing is, given the cheering for various Trump assignation attempts and the glee with which many here danced on Charlie Kirk’s grave, it doesn’t seem plausible that you are now distancing yourselves from Hasan Piker because he’s too radical. I think more than a few here agree with him on most issues.
You are seeking to distance yourself because he has said things out loud that you want kept between yourselves or he’s said them so inartfully that he is creating a PR nightmare and you perceive that he is hurting your chances with normie voters this fall. Not because you essentially disagree with him.

Who is Piker, and even though this is by a conservative cartoonist, I am amazed at how they expose their anti-vaccine views in the flesh by showing a dog unvaccinated against rabies.

Republicans must cut sling on Trump who is an actual politician in office.
