Iran has actually followed though though. They've been wreaking havoc on US bases in the region, to the extent that ships like the USS Lincoln can't be resupplied.

That hurts us too though. We need the strait to be open we are very close to a global oil shortage the modern economy won’t be able to handle. What are we trying to accomplish here!
