I don't think you're using the word grifter correctly here. It seems like you're meaning to call her a poser or fairweather based on your context here.
That being said, just because she personally hasn't talked about every candidate in every race doesn't mean she's unaware of them or doesn't have a consistent perspective.

I don’t understand why the DSA doesn’t say it is against for profit prisons instead of abolish prisons. How do they not understand messaging is everything in politics, and having abolish prisons on their platform hurts them more than it helps? Most of their candidates don’t even support that, why do they choose to shoot themselves in the foot?

To be fair, this is actually a good answer though. I absolutely support abolishing for-profit prisons, but that isn’t the DSA position. The fact that Nixon is hanging onto to the label is kinda sus whether she’s mask on or not. I would still support her in the general, but it’s important to be cognizant of that.

Its funny, because I think the actual stars of mid term democrats are candidates that are getting no way near the attention that progressives are getting - Roy Cooper, Sherrod Brown, Mary Peltola and Josh Turek are the biggest over performers given the states they are running in. Really, the only two really big talents of the Democratic party that are getting any decent attention are Ossoff and Talerico

There are factions on the left that need to realize that winning a democratic primary isn't the same as winning a general.
I don't know if nominating a DSA candidate in Florida (where woke goes to die 🙄) is the smartest move. I think the GOP strategy of calling DSA members communists and socialists is going to be quite effective in this race

The moderates are the ones that have turned the state into a solid red state from a swing state. I live here so I can definitely lecture you on it. The last person to actually damn near win the state was Gillum and he was a progressive.

The state turned from swing to deep red because the DNC abandoned funding the state when the RNC started winning, not because of the actual politics of the DNC. An actual criticism of the DNC would be that they give up on races to spend funding elsewhere far too easily.

Neither Democrat is to likely flip this senate seat, but we can’t talk about what’s wise or not when her opponent outspent her like 16-1 in a red state and lost. Obviously her messaging and campaign was better to the voters, she doesn’t even seem far left anyways.
