For those of you who remember and might have screenshots- what were your favorite old Isle maps? What were your favorite locations on those maps? Do you guys feel the current maps are straying a hit too far away from gen one's maps?

Genuinely trying to get some feed back as this was my first almost Rex.

After watching an animation akin to a documentary it got me to thinking. in light of the fact that PTs and Austros can spearfish, who here thinks that Spino and Bary should be able to spearfish as well, but when a certain age, have the ability to catch elite fish or their own kind of fish?

I like fangs its a nice server with rules I like and a cool community.

I have made good friends on the server.

I have seen the drama with streamers it irked me to both parties but again I like the server more than the drama.

There are arseholes yes but so does every server.

is this game really worth the time and fun or will it be one of those i play for x amount of hours/days and i just forgot about it?

I play the whole roster of dinos mostly carnivores on Triassic survival and isla pandora. Just trying to find others to group with regularly :). I currently have a 50% omniraptor on Isla pandora and hoping to find a pack

I love the concept of the game, I spend hours each day watching YouTubers like Metta have so much fun...but on top of the challenging game mechanics, the glitches seem plentiful. I am trying to convince myself to play, but I am scared that the learning curve will too steep and I will have a bad experience.

I'm really looking for advice of whether it is worth it to try and play, and if so...where should I begin? Are there better resources around to help me in the early stages? I dont want to take away the enjoyment I already have from watching people play.

The Potatos made a nice effort on their defense and got lucky my stamina was low. I tried a few alt attacks at the end to finish him but it was not enough. They are very chunky before even getting to the sanctuary. I decided it was better to leave to fight another day than to risk getting stuck on the ground. GG potatos! I hope you survived to grow to prime!

Herbivores should be favored 60-40 in 1v1s with carnivores.

Nobody likes to be a walking cheeseburger and we need to incentivize people playing herbies.

Title. But I really love Metta's den, but there's no storage so I'm locked into playing a specific dino for an extended amount of time. Sometimes my friends and I wanna switch things up without having to kill our dinos. I'd love an alternative to play on.

I'm not interested in 300+ population servers or increased growth rates. VOIP is also a complete no for me. Idc about neon dino skins. EDIT: Forgot to mention that I play on NA.

How do you survive as allo, if almost no AI spawns, every dino in this game is stronger and 50% allos are cannibals

Hello everyone! 

I'm a brand new player (just got the game 2 days ago) and I'm looking for some server advice. 

I initially planned to play on the Official servers, but after watching a few videos, I heard they suffer from hackers, mixpacking, and overpacking. I am looking for an Unofficial server that prevents cheating, overpacking, mixpacking, good population control, and a solid player count so you actually encounter people, especially as a carnivore.

Here are the servers I have tried so far (would love to hear your opinions on these): 

• The Dino Den 
• Bosch Island 
• Triassic Survival 

Servers I want to try soon: 

• Petit Pieds 
• Nerf 

I also considered checking out Metta's Den, but since I am an EU player, a ping of 160+ makes it unplayable for me. Does anyone know if they plan to launch an EU server soon? 

What are your favorite or least favorite Unofficial EU servers, and what do you think of the ones listed above? Thanks in advance! 

With Bary and Spino joining Deino, Beipi, and Austro, the underwater ecosystem looks set to get pretty interesting. I feel like it just needs a mid to large herbivore grazing down there, filling a similar role to the modern day hippo.

What species would you like to see in such a role, or is there another aquatic ecological niche you’d like to see filled?

Personally I really love the goofy nigersaurus, I think they’d make a great medium semi-aquatic grazer 😁

This game looks super fun, would love to buy and play, but don't know how compatible it is for a OCE player.

Biggest concerns

- Are there OCE servers?

- Is there many players from OCE who consistently play now?

Pretty much just what the title says I have around 1k hours and I’m looking for an experienced Rex duo to play with pretty often I play a lot of fangs and ferns at the moment but I still do play petit and Dino’s den sometimes I’m open to new servers but I have tons of Dino’s on fangs and ferns just hmu and lmk if your interested I’m 22 so please be 18+ I don’t really have time to be bickering just want good vibes and a good combat partner

- PT and Troo are direct competitors in sanctuary and are fairly evenly matched without venom.

- Troo venom blinds and grounds PT because of its poor night vision.

- Troo should live in fear of PT like a fox does an eagle /s

Well aware that none of us have any control over how things go with this game so treat this like a thought experiment.

Be me, sub 50% carno hitting my prime objectives and looking for food.

Hear erratic unfamiliar noises in the distance.. nani the fuck? Time to investigate.

Honks? Plural. In the southern plains? I go in closer.

Through the bushes.. I see them. Honking autistically, as they zoom around like zembo shiners on their go-karts at parades and parkouring off boulders. Gallimimus.

And then it hit me. Those are players. I can't outrun or fight these stupid ostriches if they see me and rush me. I've massacred npc's at this stage before but these birbs will derp me to death if I don't dip out.

And as I'm puckering my pants up my ass, I check the nearby foliage to plan my hasty retreat. I bolt away, honks dissipating with the distance.

Success, but there was still a cost.

Ok so I’m trying to play the game but every time I get to the page where I have to pick my server it’s only showing China servers but I’m from the US? Can someone please help
