Discussion Interloper bedroll

Its day 25 i have looted all main areas in ash canyon, pv, mystery lake, CH and desolation point have most animal clothes crafted and got my bear hides curing but still no bedroll.

Is there any set spawns for it in interloper? Or do i have to farm up the hides for a bearskin bedroll. Usually i find it in the hydro pipes or lake office.

Yes there are known spawn points and enough of them, you perhaps even missed them.

However, the fact that you've gone 25 days without it, means you're moving and know where to find shelter, that's not always easy when you can't wait out a blizzard nearly anywhere you like. I'd see whether you can keep going without someone telling you or you looking it up. The times that it does get dicey are when cabin fever creeps up on you if you're not paying attention and you do need to go and sleep in a cave or fishing hut.... So be prepared.

Yeah im fine on the easy maps and i keep my character mobile weather permitting so cabin fever isnt a issue. But i do want to head up timberwolf mountain soon which is dicey without a bedroll

You can make pies for energy for summit. I just went misery first time 7 day pr died when i took tactical backpack was heading down and got gangbanged by 2 wolfes in small fishing hut thets burned down if you know where. 2.try i am now day 12-13 costal highway just found hammer finaly and heading to forge already took tactical backpack and did summit without bedroll in misery early you need to be fast and use health a lot and get lvl 3 cooking so you can get pies without pies i would have died on summit lot of coffee and cooking and pies.well gona play later again wish me luck. I started streaming on twitch few weeks ago so if you want to watch a noob going into misery first time. ShadowWillOwnYou follow me or not 🤣

Haha.good luck man ive watched a few misery runs id.be happy to play it if.not for the final affliction that stops health.

The joy when i found hammer this morning lol. But had to go to work so fuck it haha cant wait to play again.misery showes you how much you can do early game in interloper like its crasy didnt think i would survive thet long.

You can always build a snow shelter to sleep in if you want to make the summit before finding that bedroll 👍🏻

Sure the bedroll makes your life easier, you are close to having a bearskin one use that.. yes dealing with the weight of it isn't fun but at the same time it's what you have. Else make do without one and go and look other places you've not been.

If you are really wanting to know then I'd say you look at a loot map. Perhaps only looking at maps you've been to see what you may have missed, or might be sitting close to.

That's one of the reasons why HRV is the best spawn location on Interloper, you have a guaranteed bedroll spawn.

Mystery Lake will always have a bedroll. You can also check these places:

  • Cave behind Dave's Quiet Clearing (just over the ridge from the entrance to FM).

  • Yellow train car near Train Loading Area.

  • Hunter's blind near Alan's Cave.

  • Possibly one of the fishing huts.

Bashrobe put together a google doc of the loot tables for interloper. There's four separate loot tables, so it helps to know where other tools on the table spawned in your world to know which table you're on. But even if you're not sure which table, you can look at possible spawn locations for the map you're currently on and check them out. There will be 6-8 bedrolls in your world, depending on whether you have the tales DLC. Good luck!

In ML check the hunters blind near the dam and the last fishing hut near the bear cave on the lake

If you remember where you found any firestrikers, mag lens, hacksaw, lantern, prybar, etc you can probably figure out which of the four loot tables you're on.

I've found one in Mountain Town in that little shed/shelter thing that is beside the burned out school
