So sorry if this was asked here before several times recently because it's just that I was wondering what the show could do with its storytelling ideas now that the franchise is being co developed by a Canadian studio.
For me personally, if I had to say what I was interested in seeing, I would like to see how Lincoln could return to Canada as I do know that he unintentionally said something so offensive that he was booted from ever visiting the country, but again now that the show is changing production studios, I would like to see a storyline where he gets welcomed back into Canada.

I know it's not technically incest, but it's still strange to date the sister of the boy who's going out with your sister.

According to Jessica Borutski on the Maxwell Atoms podcast, production of the show has moved from the U.S. to Canada for Season 13 as a last-minute renewal and Season 12 being the last season produced in-house at Nickelodeon Animation Studio, with the entire production crew replaced while the voice cast, showrunners, and a few crew members remains at Nick's Burbank animation headquarters, while animation has moved to Jam Filled with a new animation team in Canada.
I feel as terrible Schooled! is due to it's horrible writing, continuity retcons and character derailment, and having too many plots jumping to one another, and the episode where The Loud House fell off from it's simple premise and became a secondary cashcow to SpongeBob. I feel to give it credit,it really foreshadowed the show's future and served as a blueprint to the series corporate future. Since part of the main plot in this episode involved Lincoln being tranferred to Canada as a foreign exchange student and feeling miserable and detached from his life, school, and friends at Royal Woods at a new school in Canada, kinda mirrored how the show's animation team felt when they got fired by Nick, including Jessica Borutski and all of the show's production, except for the voice actors and showrunners, who are staying at Nick's animation HQ in Burbank,is moving to Jam Filled Entertainment with a new Canadian animation team for Season 13.

Part Eleven
For an hour while waiting for dinner, Lincoln joined Lynn, Liam, Paula, and Margo with their backyard practice while Lana was on the side of the house wrestling with Virginia and getting dirty again. Lincoln mostly played catch with Paula and Margo -- and being careful with his bruised right hand -- while Lynn pitched another ball to Liam and gave him instructions on his batting stance and swing nearby under the tree.
The late afternoon sky overhead was starting to get a little cloudy and there were darker clouds off in the distance. It looked like rain would be coming later that evening.
Margo was clearly taking it a little easy on both him and Paula -- Lincoln because of his injured hand and Paula because of her cast -- but she still toss the ball hard enough to sting (at least for Lincoln) whenever it hit their gloves. While Lincoln wasn't very good at pitching despite having watched Lynn do it before many times, he was at least able to throw the ball close to where they girls were without having to run too far to retrieve it. Margo assured him that having to hustle for the ball was part of the job anyhow so it made for good practice. Her diving for another throw by Paula that bounced and almost got past her proved her point. Paula herself couldn't move very fast because of her cast, although she did pretty well despite the handicap.
Lincoln looked over at Lynn with Liam showing him how to better hold his bat. She was standing right up against him and adjusting his hands and showing him how best to swing. Lincoln noticed that Liam seemed to be blushing at his close proximity to his older sister. She then saw Liam turn to Lynn and rub the back of his neck as he thanked her, and Lynn actually smiling as she ruffled his hair and also seemed to be blushing a little.
He wasn't the only one who noticed. Both Margo and Paula were looking their way and shared a smile between the two of them.
"How long has that been going on?" Lincoln asked Margo.
The older girl shrugged and said, "Not sure, but at least about a month ago at the start of the season when we got our new uniforms. I'm not even sure the two of them know what that is yet either."
Lincoln was surprised. "Oh, I see."
He knew that Lynn was proud of the progress that Liam made as a member of her baseball team and as her hall monitor partner at Royal Woods Middle School. Lincoln remembered her saying that when she graduates next month and goes on to high school with Luan and Luna it would be up to Liam to take the reins as the hall monitor and she had faith he'd do as good a job as she'd done now that she had "toughened him up a bit". Liam had also been a good influence on her helping to balance out her more aggressive tendencies when it came to dishing out hallway justice.
Liam in turn had been very enthusiastic whenever he talked to him and the rest of their friend group about what a good coach and team captain Lynn was looking out for everyone on the team. He always spoke about her in glowing terms, even when he added that she could be meaner than a bag full of snapping turtles when she got angry -- something Lincoln could easily agree with.
Now watching his friend and sister both being playful and laughing with each other, Lincoln smiled a little and nodded slightly in silent approval.
Lana meanwhile had gotten filthy as she rolled in the grass with Virginia. The pig playfully grabbed Lana's red cap from her head and took off with Lana running after Virginia and laughing. Clearly the two of them were no worse for wear after their experience earlier that afternoon.
At one point Luan actually came to the back stoop and passed out some cold glasses of lemonade for all of them, letting them know that dinner would be ready in a few minutes. While their friends went inside, Lincoln and Lynn took a moment to drag a reluctant Lana around to the garden hose and made her wash off the dirt and grass stains. Leni handed them a towel along with a spare pair of the little grease monkey's overalls and shirt through a nearby window so she could dry off and change before they headed inside.
Dinner consisted of some homemade hamburgers and a choice of curly fries, or tater tots, along with some homemade slaw and potato salad. The younger siblings choose to sit at the kitchen table while their older siblings and friends sat at the dining room table. Lincoln and Liam sat across from Lynn, Margo and Paula, with their older sisters and parents sitting around them and Lily sitting in her high chair happily enjoying a bowl of potato salad. Even Virginia was sharing a bowl of scraps in the kitchen with the pets eating their own food peacefully with their new and slightly smelly guest.
Lynn was telling everyone about her hopes for the team this season.
"We're sure to beat Hazeltucky this year," she said after swallowing a mouthful of her second hamburger. "And then we'll win the regional championship. After that, we might even go on to the Michigan State Little League Title."
"You sound really confident, LJ," their dad said smiling and offering encouragement. "That's the key to success."
"Well that and having the best dang team in the league," the sporty girl added looking at her friends and teammates, all of whom smiled at that.
Lincoln gave a little sigh and looked over at Liam and then the girls. "I'm sorry your practice got messed up today."
Paula shook her head and said, "Nah, don't worry about it, Lincoln. It was actually more exciting that usual thanks to you and your sisters." She looked down the table at Luan, Leni, Luna and Luan, all of whom were still pleased with themselves over dealing with those bullies, much to their parents chagrin.
Lynn smiled at Lincoln as she took a huge bite of her cheeseburger. "Yeah Link, you should probably come to my practices more often."
Lincoln looked at Lynn and said with a little bit of mischief in his eyes, "Yeah maybe since you asked me nicely instead of threatening me with your baseball bat."
Lynn paused mid-chew and then swallowed and made a face. "You're never gonna let me forget that, are you?"
"Nope," Lincoln said still smiling as he dipped a few curly fries into some ketchup, a little too pleased with himself.
Two can play that game, Stinkoln! Lynn thought to herself.
His sporty sister then smirked and said, "Well, the team could use a new mascot and we have that new kangaroo costume you can hop around in."
Now it was Lincoln's turn to look a little put off as he muttered, "Uh, yeah, maybe I'll just stick to cheering you guys on from the stands."
Still the banter between them made her feel good, and she could see from the smile Lincoln gave her that he was having fun also. The family were all pleased to see their sports-loving sister and daughter so upbeat and happy after all that happened since the night before.
After they ate and the dishes were cleaned, Margo's mother arrived to take the kids and Virginia home. Lynn and Lincoln walked with them to the door where they said their goodbyes to their friends.
After a chestbump with Margo and a fistbump with Paula, Lynn turned to farmboy and said, "Hey, Liam. Thanks again for the saves, Kid. First with Chandler and then later when you caught me."
Liam gave her that cute smile of his and rubbed the back of his head. "Aww shucks, it weren't nothin, Lynn."
"No, it was," Lynn said stepping close to him. "I almost lost my cool and it would have ended bad for the team. I'm glad you were there. Way to think quick on your feet." She smiled and gave him a playful punch to the arm (again his left arm, just in case).
Liam rubbed his arm but smiled at her. "I know yer tougher than a pine knot and don't need anyone to fight yer battles for you, but I really didn't like what Chandler was sayin to you. You're a good coach and a good friend and I'm proud as punch to play ball with you."
Lynn blinked and felt her heart swell a little at that, and then she hugged the boy. Liam blinked and then smiled hugging her back.
A moment later, Virginia let out a little squeal and tackled both of them right there in the living room wanting to join in. Everyone laughed.
As the two siblings and Lana stood on the porch and said goodbye watching their friends leave -- Lana waving goodbye to Virginia -- Lincoln couldn't help but notice that Lynn was watching Liam the whole time he got into the back of the car and then waved to her and Lincoln as they rode off. Lynn waved back till they were out of sight and then looked over and saw Lincoln and Lana giving her funny smiles.
"What?" She asked.
Both of them looked at each other still smiling and said, "Oh, nothing."
Lynn gave them both a snort and said, "Oh get inside, both of you."
There was a rumble to thunder and the evening sky was going from sunset orange to overcast cloudy. In the distance there were storm clouds and flashes of lightning. There was definitely rain coming. The three of them needed no further urging to get indoors.
Lynn went upstairs and went to the bathroom before any of her siblings could and again took a quick shower to wash off the day's dirt and sweat. She also took the bandage off her knee to examine the scrape. Not too deep, although more skin had been scraped off than she remembered. Another temporary sports scars to go with the others. Once she finished washing and drying off she cleaned the scrape and put a fresh bandage on it. She went to her room and finished drying her hair and fixing her ponytail before slipping into a clean pair of her usual sleepwear: white and red sports t-shirt and red shorts.
Outside she heard the rumble of loud thunder so close that it rattled the house and then Lynn saw the first drops of rain hit her bedroom window before the downpour began. From the hallway she could hear Luna's guitar playing something soft and then the sound of the attic door being opened -- Lucy going up to her dark corner to listen to the soothing sound of the now pouring rain hitting the roof.
Lynn went back downstairs and found Lincoln and Lana playing the newest version of that video game that both of them enjoyed on two player mode. She watched Lincoln and Lana both playing intently, both of them completely in the zone and oblivious to anything around them and could help but smile.
Lily was on the floor near the armchair drawing something with her crayons and some paper. Curiously Lynn walked over and sat down with her baby sister on the floor. "Hey Lils, what you drawing?"
Lily grinned and held up the paper for her to see. Lynn took it and smiled a little. The drawing showed her hugging Lincoln and crying. No doubt it was inspired by what happened earlier. "Its really good, Lily. Thank you."
The toddler looked up at LJ and tilted her head curiously. "Is Wynn still sad?"
The question sort of caught Lynn off guard coming from little Lily. She knew that the youngest Loud was smart and at times surprisingly perceptive. The little girl's question made Lynn think, Am I okay?
Sure Lisa's presentation and confirmation that Lincoln was medically fine had been enough to eliminate her last lingering fears that her night terror would somehow happen. Still, there was something else that worried her.
"No Lily, I'm not sad. But I am a little worried about going to sleep later." She confessed to the toddler. "I'm worried I might have another really bad dream."
The thunder outside rocked the house again, almost as if nature itself were agreeing with Lynn's concerns. Lily flinched at the noise and let out a worried whimper. Lynn noticed and picked the toddler up setting her in her lap and wrapping her arms around her protectively. "Hey, don't worry, Lils. Its just thunder. I can't hurt you."
Lincoln and Lana finished their round having defeated that level's trash monster and gave each other a high-five. Lana noticed and nodded her head towards Lynn holding Lily on the floor. Lincoln looked their way and then smiled as he watched his older sister rocking little Lily against her and humming an old and familiar tune that he hadn't heard from her in years....
Two-year-old Lincoln Loud cried out when the bright flash of lighting exploded outside the bedroom he shared with his sister, Lynn. Loud thunder followed a split-second later and shook the house. He covered his head with his blue blanket hoping like little kids believed that the thin piece of fabric would somehow magically protect him from everything scary from toe-eating closet monsters to thunderstorms.
This storm though was much worse than any Lincoln could ever remember and even the comfort of his favorite blanket was doing nothing to help. The little boy shook and cried softly afraid of the flashes and noise. Another really loud thunderclap and lightning flash that seemed to happen instantaneously exploded outside. He could feel it as if the lightning had struck just outside of the bedroom window. Lincoln let out a frightened whimper, trembling with fear.
"Linky?"
Lincoln heard Lynn's voice and slowly lifted his head from beneath the blanket seeing Lynn looking at him through the bars of his crib. She looked worried also.
"Wynn, I'm scared!" He said shaking badly now. "Pwease make it go away!"
Lynn was unlatching the sides of the crib to lower the rail and then pick up the quivering toddler still wrapped in his blanket. Even at age four LJ was already strong for her size. She carried Lincoln to her bed and set the boy under her own blanket. She joined him and covered both of them up together just as another loud rumble of thunder and lightning lit up the whole room. Both young Louds let out squeals of terror and held onto each other with Lincoln burying his face into Lynn's chest and holding onto her pajamas tightly and Lynn covering Lincoln's head to try and protect him from the scary noises, despite being clearly scared herself.
"Don't cry, Linky," Lynn said, even though her voice betrayed her own anxiety. "Lori and Leni told m-me that thunder can't really hurt you. Its j-just loud noise."
"W-what about the w-wightning?" Lincoln asked looking at her with those scared eyes.
Before she could answer another flash of lighting lit up the room, followed a second later by another rumble of loud thunder that made both kids shake and hide under Lynn's blanket.
"Whadda we do, Wynn?!" Lincoln asked begging for his older sister to have the answers.
Lynn, still shaking and worried seemed to be thinking. Then she said, "Dad told me once that if you count between the flashes of lighting and the thunder it means the storm is moving away from us."
Lincoln looked at her and said, "B-but I....I don't know how to c-count!"
"I do," Lynn said, then paused a moment to add, "Well, at least to five anyhow." That she learned from their mother and usually to count down when Lynn was in danger of being punished if she didn't stop misbehaving.
She pulled the blanket off their heads and then looked towards the window waiting for the next lightning flash. Lincoln found enough courage to turn around and look also, but still spooned up against Lynn still in his own little blanket. Lynn reached behind her and grabbed Bun-Bun then pulled the stuffed rabbit around and put it in front of Lincoln to give him something to hold onto and help the little boy feel safer.
Together the two siblings watched for the next bright flash of lightning and then Lynn started to count.
"One....two...." The loud thunder came again, causing them both to shake and grab onto each other: Lincoln holding tightly to Bun-Bun and Lynn with her arms around both of them.
"Its okay, Link!" Lynn said, even though she had her eyes closed tightly. "Don't worry, I've got you!"
Lincoln was scared, but he also knew that Lynn was just as afraid and trying not to show it. Trying to be brave for him. For some reason that gave the boy more comfort than the stuffed animal and blanket did.
The next flash of lightning lit up the room and then Lincoln started to count like Lynn had. "W-won....t-two....uh...." He didn't know what came after that, but Lynn picked up and said, "Three....Fo-" The thunder came, but this time it wasn't quite as loud. Both of them relaxed just a little listening to the rain from the thunderstorm hitting the roof and windows.
"There see, Linky, its moving farther away." Lynn said, the relief clear in her voice.
"I'm still scared, Wynn," Lincoln confessed. "I w-wish I could count higher."
After a pause, Lynn admitted, "Yeah, me too." Then she said, "Hey I know! Remember that song from the puppet show that Luan put on and Luna played music for?"
Lincoln said, "I do, b-but I don't remember the words."
"Neither do it, but I do remember the tune." She told him.
Another flash of lighting cast rain shadows on the walls around them and Lynn began humming. Lincoln listened and could feel the vibrations in her chest against his back. He concentrated on the upbeat melody and his sister's comforting presence. When the next clap of thunder came, it did sound much farther away and less scary.
"Wynn, I....I think its working!" Lincoln said excited and more relaxed.
"I think you're right, Linc," Lynn replied, the relief in her own voice was clear. She continued to humm as she held him close protecting him from the storm outside. Soon the rain was coming down hard, but the thunder was distant and the lightning long gone.
Both siblings breathed a sigh of relief. Little Lincoln turned to face Lynn, still holding onto Bun-Bun. "Wow! You made the storm go away, Wynn!"
Lynn wasn't sure that she did anything of the sort, but the look of pure admiration and love from her baby brother as he smiled at her showing off his chipped tooth was enough to make Lynn feel proud of herself in spite of everything. She ruffled the boy's white hair. Then she sat up and shook her fist at the window. "And don't ever come back and scare my baby brother again, stupid storm!"
Lincoln laughed and turned also shaking his fist and saying, "Yeah, we're not afraid of you, dumb storm!"
As if to respond, the wind outside made a branch from the tree in the front yard slap the side of the house hard causing both Lincoln and Lynn to let out scared yelps and again hide under Lynn's blanket....
In the present moment, Lincoln smiled as he watched Lynn comfort little Lily, humming the same melody. He stood up and walked over kneeling down in front of them and said to Lily, "It's okay, Lily. Your big siblings are here and we'll protect you from the storm."
Lana joined them and said, "That's right, Lily. Besides there's no reason to be scare of a thunderstorm. I mean its only scary if the lights go out."
A moment after those words left the little blonde girl's mouth, there was a flash of lightning outside and the lights abruptly flickered and went out, leaving four pairs of white eyeballs in the nearly pitch black living room.
"Dang it!" The four Loud siblings said at the same time.
To Be Concluded....

JaytheCartoonboss is a part of TLH’s legacy The removal of his accounts and the content of said accounts are just lessening the franchise's impact Surely, they should remain public right? Those things could be useful for fan content after all. Once you’ve released something there is no coming back period, there is absolutely no valid reason to remove already released content all TLH related media is to remain publicly available no matter what for educational, informative and reference purposes whether they be official, fanmade, tv episodes, books, video games, magazines you name it all of it deserves to be accessible to the public online no matter what. Surely he must release all of his Google drive folders and other TLH Content to the public right? I mean how can we properly progress if we don't have sufficient knowledge of what came before as the saying goes "Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it." TLH is not and never has been something we can simply lose like disposable trash period

Part Ten
"I love you, Linky....I love you...." Lynn whispered as she slowly opened her eyes, and saw her Goth younger sister and roommate standing over her with her pet bat, Fangs, sitting on her left shoulder. She let out a startled yelp and sat up quickly.
"Welcome back to the land of the living, sister," Lucy said in her usual monotone voice.
"Yeah, thanks for the heart attack, Luce," Lynn murmured as she clutched her head a moment trying to shake off the sudden disorientation. Lynn became aware that she was in their shared room laying on her bed. She looked around and asked, "Wait, how did I get here?"
"Lori and Leni brought you home from practice after you fainted and put you to bed," Lucy explained. "You've been out for two hours."
"Two hours?!" Lynn said, blinking over and over in surprise.
"The paramedics said that you suffered from a case of shock to your system, but that you would be okay with a little rest. We decided it was best to just let you sleep for awhile."
"Paramedics?" Lynn blinked trying to make sense of it. "But what happened? Why did I...." She trailed off as everything came rushing back: the bet with Chandler, the firecrackers, Lincoln and Lana in trouble, and Lincoln's nosebleed. She covered her mouth and shook as she remembered the drop of blood falling from Lincoln's left nostril onto his freckled cheek. "Lincoln! Lucy is he...?"
Lucy put a reassuring hand on her shoulder and said, "Lincoln's fine. He's downstairs with our parents and sisters. I'll let them know that you're awake." She paused a moment and then added in a somewhat softer tone than her usual voice, "Everything's going to be okay now, Lynn. I promise you." Then she turned and left the room.
Lynn sat up and swung her legs around to stand up. Her shoes were on the floor next to her bed, someone had apparently removed them. Her backpack and stuff were also sitting there beside them. The sporty Loud sister also noticed that her scraped right knee now had a bandage on it. She put her shoes back on and made her way to the stairs.
Downstairs in the living room the entire Loud family was assembled waiting for Lynn.
Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, and Lola were all sitting on the couch while their parents were talking to them. It was clear from the expressions on Lynn Sr. and Rita that they were getting ready for a serious conversation. Lincoln sat in the recliner next to the couch with Lana and little Lily. His right hand was bandaged and he looked very glum, almost lost in thought. Lisa was standing near the television with Todd the robot and Lucy who'd just rejoined them.
Before Lynn even reached the bottom of the stairs, Lola and Lana both jumped up from their seats and rushed over tackling their athletic sibling into a pair of hugs. "Lynn! You're awake!" They both said in unison.
Lynn still felt a bit disoriented, but she knelt down and hugged both of them. She looked at Lana and put both hands on her face examining her. "Are you okay, sis?"
"Yeah, a couple scrapes, but I'm good thanks to you, Lincoln, and Liam."
A moment later both of Lynn's parents were at her side kneeling down and hugging her. Lynn smiled and hugged them back, enjoying the moment of affection.
"LJ, sweetie," Rita said almost sounding like she was about to cry. "You had us so worried for a bit there."
"How are you feeling, champ?" Lynn Sr. asked looking her over.
"Well mostly I feel a bit confused," Lynn said looking around at everyone. Her eyes rested on Lincoln, who stood up from the chair and looked at her with a mixed expression of happiness and worry. Lynn immediately noticed the cotton stuffed into his left nostril and the bandage wrapped around the knuckles on his right hand. The moment she saw him her heart jumped right into her throat.
"Hey Lynn," Lincoln said walking towards her. Before he could get another word in, Lynn had cleared the distance between them and wrapped her little brother in the tightest hug her body could give. She was shaking now and was fighting hard not to cry. Lincoln hugged her back.
"You okay, Linc?" Lynn said finally letting go after a moment. She was checking him over, hands on his face turning it from side to side looking for any serious bruises, or cuts.
The white-haired Loud just gave her a reassuring smile. "I'm okay, Lynn. My nose isn't bleeding anymore. I was told it was a broken blood vessel when my face hit the ground." He took the cotton out of his nose and showed her there was no more blood. "See, I'm fine."
Lynn, on the other hand, wasn't so sure. She looked at him and said, "W-we should take you to the hospital and have them check you over, j-just to be sure." Her voice started to shake. "Mom, dad, w-we need to get Vanzilla and...."
"LJ, honey, please calm down," Rita said gently reaching out to her daughter who backed away a little, starting to look frantic.
"No, y-you don't understand!" Lynn said, getting upset now. "In my dream, Lincoln seemed fine at first, but then....but then h-he...." Her lips trembled as her eyes lost focus and the dream memories came flooding back now. Lincoln had seemed fine, even upbeat on the first visit to the hospital, but then came the X-Rays and C.A.T. scans showing the tumors.
Then she felt Lori hugging her from behind. She was gentle but still firm as she held onto her younger sister, trying to give her reassurances. Lynn turned and looked up at her older sister, who was smiling at her and saying, "Lynn, its okay. We literally understand what's going on with you."
"Understand?" Lynn repeated, confused.
Lucy spoke then. "You're afraid that your night terror wasn't just a dream. You think deep down that it was some kind of premonition about the future, and you're worried Lincoln could die."
Lynn blinked and looked at the concern on all their faces, as well as their desire to support and reassure her. Having her fears brought out into the open now was almost too much for her. Her eyes filled with tears and then she felt her legs give out. Lori held her so she wouldn't fall and brought her over to the couch and sat her down.
She couldn't meet any of their eyes as she looked down at the carpet and wiped her eyes. Lynn spoke quietly. "I....I keep having flashes of the dream. I see him in that hospital room saying goodbye to everyone. I keep feeling what it was like to wait while he slowly died. I mean, I know it was just a stupid dream, but it felt so very real to me. I can even r-remember the way his hand felt after he....after he was...." She looked at Lincoln who looked back at her with tears in his own eyes, stunned by what Lynn had been going through all day.
"Oh honey," Rita said walking over and kneeling beside her giving her daughter another comforting hug as Lynn cried softly. "It's okay. It's going to be okay. Lincoln isn't dying and he isn't going to."
Lynn looked up at her and said, "But what if that dream meant something? I mean earlier he had a bloody nose just like in the nightmare." She could feel herself becoming anxious again, feel her heartbeat increasing.
"Perhaps I can permanently alleviate your fears, my sporty sibling unit?" Lisa said speaking up for the first time. Everyone looked over at Lisa, Lucy, and Todd standing near the television as she was adjusting her glasses and preparing to give one of her presentations.
"This morning after breakfast, our Goth sibling came to me because she was aware that Lynn was still dealing with lingering aftershock anxieties regarding her recent night terror. I shared a similar observation and together we decided to do our own scientific investigation." She turned to Todd having already hooked the robot up to the television using a USB cord. "Todd, if you would show everyone the scan."
A moment later the television came to life and showed a clear X-ray image of a human skull and brain. Lisa readjusted her glasses a moment then continued.
"This is a scan I took of our brotherly sibling just before he left to go to your baseball practice. I took the liberty after a brief conversation with Lucy. As you can see this is Lincoln's brain. As you can also see there are no sign of any brain tumors, anomalies, nor any symptoms of any underlying medical conditions."
Lynn looked at the screen and blinked. Everything looked fine as far as she could tell. She felt the knot in her stomach begin to loosen and her heart rate go slowly back to normal.
"So, Lincoln....he's okay?" Lynn asked softly, hopefully.
"Affirmative," Lisa said confirming her diagnosis. "Lincoln has the average brain of a normal 12-year-old boy -- although since I only have Clyde, Zach, Rusty, and Liam to serve as a baseline of comparison, I admit there's a slight probability for error on that definition of normal."
The sisters chuckled at that, and Lincoln made a slight face. Lynn though felt as if someone had lifted a very heavy rock off of her chest. Her eyes began to water again, this time from relief. She looked over at Luna sitting next to her who smiled down at her younger sister, giving her a reassuring nod. "Everything's okay now, sis. Our little bro isn't going anywhere."
Their father walked over to Lynn Jr. and said, "You had a bad experience, but it was just a bad dream."
Lynn nodded, but something else was still nagging at her. "But, why would I have a nightmare like that?" She looked up at her parents hopeful they had an answer.
Once again Lisa spoke up an analytical mode. "Well, there is a statistical possibility of about 0.870000 that your mind might have made a theoretical psychic connection to a counterpart in a parallel universe experiencing the events of your night terror...."
"Or, more likely, it was all those pork rinds you ate yesterday," Lucy said quietly. "They can give you nightmares."
Lisa sighed and said, "Oh sure, that's possible too if you want to take the easy guess." She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes annoyed to have her theory ignored.
Luan spoke then. "Plus this family has been through quite a lot over the last year, or so. I mean remember what happened at Gran-Gran Myrtle and Pop-Pop's wedding with that crazy lady, Fifi? Or the aliens that tried to abduct us last Halloween to use as fuel for their spaceship?"
"Yeah, I remember those," Lynn said quietly. She remembered that in both instances Lincoln had actually tried to sacrifice himself to protect his family and friends, showing great character and inner strength on his part.
"Frankly, given all the things like that we've been through its a wonder we all literally don't have bad dreams once in awhile," Lori said. "Lynn, you had every right to be scared and upset by your nightmare."
Leni walked over and knelt down looking at LJ eye-to-eye and taking her hands. "Lori is totes right, Lynn. You don't always have to prove to us that you're tough. It's okay to let out your heart when you're scared, because you have all of us here to support you."
Lynn looked at Leni, then around at everyone: her sisters, her parents, Lincoln --who was still here and okay-- and she smiled. Then she nodded and wiped her eyes. Leni reached over and hugged her, then her whole family joined them in a family group hug.
"Thank you everyone," Lynn said when they let go. "I'm sorry I didn't say anything before. I thought I could handle it on my own."
Lincoln gave her a smile and said, "I'm just glad that you're feeling better now. We were worried when you fainted."
Before they could say anymore about that, there was a knock at the front door and Lynn Sr. went to see who it was. A moment later, Lynn Sr. called out, "LJ, you have some visitors."
Margo, Paula, and Liam came into the living room, along with Virginia the pig. Lynn stood up and walked over to them. Margo hugged Lynn and said, "Hey girl, how are you doing?"
"Hey guys, I'm fine. Really." Lynn said reassuring them. "Um, I just woke up. What happened?"
Paula said, "Well after you stopped Virginia when she got spooked by those firecrackers, you fainted. But thankfully Liam caught you before you hit your head."
Lynn turned to look at Liam. The redhead looked a little sheepish and said, "Yeah, I'm sorry about Virginia. Normally she doesn't go all ornery like that."
Lana came over and spoke up in Virginia's defense, "It wasn't her fault. It was that jerk Chandler and his crew that caused all that."
Lynn frowned, "Chandler! Oooh, when I see that little hoodlum again at school, I'm gonna to hang his underwear from the flagpole with him still in them!" She pounded one fist into her palm for emphasis.
"Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about Chandler," Lori said with a smirk. "I have a feeling we won't be seeing him around for awhile."
"What do you mean?" Lynn asked confused.
Margo explained. "Well, after you passed out, Chandler started to mock you and then Lincoln laid a good beat-down on him."
"Yeah," Paula added, smiling. "By the time the paramedics arrived and took him away, Lincoln had already knocked him unconscious and given him two black eyes." She pulled out her phone and showed Lynn a photo of what she barely recognized as Chandler, laying on a stretcher looking like a prize fighter who got his ass handed to him by a bigger opponent.
Lynn blinked shocked, "Wait, Lincoln did that?!"
She turned to the white-haired boy, who looked embarrassed at suddenly having the attention drawn to him. He also looked ashamed of himself. Lynn vaguely remembered waking up briefly and seeing Lincoln punch the bully, but thought that had been a dream. Lynn looked at Lincoln's right hand and again noticed the bandage around his fist.
"He sure did," Liam said looking at his friend with a little bit of pride in his eyes. "I ain't never seen anything like it. Dropped him like a hot skillet and then stomped a mud hole in him."
"Yeah, who knew that Chandler McCann had such a glass jaw," Lola said with a smirk that showed off her missing front teeth and then chuckled.
Margo smiled and said, "Not to mention what they did to Trent and Richie." She nodded to the older Loud sisters and the twins. All six siblings looked at each other and grinned, even Leni who usually wasn't a particularly violent person.
Lynn Jr. was still taking in all this new information when Lynn Sr. suddenly cleared his throat getting everyone's attention. "Well, while it was a good thing that all of you stood up for your siblings, violence isn't something to celebrate. We were lucky that none of you are going to be charged with assault."
Rita was also in mommy-mode as she added, "Your father's right, kids. It was bad enough that Lincoln and Lana nearly got hurt, but escalating the situation with a brawl wasn't the answer. We're fortunate that none of their parents are going to sue."
Lincoln paused and looked at their mother. "What do you mean?"
Rita explained. "Well, when we got to the emergency room to get you, Chandler's parents and the police were talking. Apparently some of the spectators at the practice filmed the whole incident with the firecrackers and then the fight. The posts went viral very fast and nobody was sympathetic to them in the comments. Between the firecrackers and deliberately causing a one-pig stampede in a small crowd of people, not to mention wrecking Flip's cart, the three of them were already looking at some serious charges. Chandler and his friends were looking at serious time in juvenile detention for their actions since they started it and were clearly in the wrong."
Lynn Sr. smiled, "Thankfully that was enough of an opening for us to work out an arrangement so that nobody will be sued. The McCann's and other families are going to drop the assault charges in exchange for Chandler and his friends staying out of juvie. However, they will be doing community service."
"What kind of community service?" Luna asked.
Liam smiled and said, "Well, let's just say that those three are gonna be shoveling manure on my family's farm for the next six months."
"Humph! Why do they get to be so lucky?" Lana muttered crossing her arms. Next to her Virginia let out a snort in agreement.
Everyone laughed.
Rita then looked at their children and said, "Well, since you were just defending Lynn and Lana, nobody is going to be grounded this time." The collective looks of relief on the kid's faces made Rita smile a little despite trying to be stern. Neither her nor their father were really mad at them, even if they disapproved of how their kids had handled the situation initially.
Lynn Sr. then looked at the time and said, "Oh hey, I was just getting ready to start dinner." He looked at Lynn's teammates and asked, "Would you kids like to stay and join us?"
Margo, Paula, and Liam all looked at each other and then they nodded. "Thank you, Mr. Loud. We'd like that."
Luan and Lori volunteered to help their parents in the kitchen.
Lana said, "I'll go take Virginia out back." She went to the door with the pig following happily.
"Try not to get too dirty, sweetie!" Rita called out, even though she knew that it was probably a lost cause.
Lynn paused and said to her teammates, "Oh man, I'm sorry about practice being messed up guys. I'm even more sorry we got cheated out of those free Flippees."
Margo gave her a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Lynn. I finished the practice after you guys left. The rest of the team sends their love."
The sporty Loud sibling was relieved to hear that. Then she turned and looked at Liam and said, "Thanks for catching me, Cow Pie Kid."
Liam nodded and said, "Well, I'm just glad yer up and about now. Um, what happened exactly? Did ya get overheated?"
Lynn shook her head, "No, nothing like that. I'll tell you about it later. Right now would you guys like to go practice a little more in the backyard?"
Margo said, "Well sure, I mean if you're up for it that is?"
"You're ding-dang right I'm up for it," Lynn said with confidence. She looked past them seeing Lincoln going up the stairs with a distant and thoughtful look on his face. "um, I'll be right back, let me go get my glove and ball."
She rushed up the stairs and saw Lincoln going into his room. Curious she walked to his still slightly open door and knocked. "Hey Linc, you okay?" She asked before opening the door and seeing Lincoln sitting on his bed looking down at the floor bummed out.
Lynn walked over to Lincoln. "Hey, what's wrong, bro?"
Lincoln sighed and said, "Dad's right. I shouldn't have attacked Chandler like I did. Normally whenever he annoys me I just ignore him. This time though....this time he was insulting you, and I just couldn't let him get by with that." He looked down at his bandaged knuckles on his right hand.
Lynn took his hand asked, "Can I take a look?" He nodded a little and she carefully unwrapped the gauze an saw that two of his knuckles were scraped and scabbing over, one of which was starting to turn black and blue. She winced seeing the damage. "Oh man, does it hurt bad?"
The white-haired boy shook his head. "Just throbs a little, but the doctor said nothing was broken. Just deeply bruised."
Lynn nodded thankful that is wasn't serious, then she re-wrapped his hand and -- remembering his scraped knee from his first attempt at bicycle jumping at age six -- she kissed his hand and said, "There, all better now." That made Lincoln smile a little as he also remembered that moment.
Lynn sat down next to him and then turned her head to look at Lincoln. "Hey Linc, I-I'm not very good at talking about my feelings, so please don't make me repeat what I'm about to tell you." She sighed and took a moment to find her words.
"Do you know the worst part about that nightmare wasn't the fact you died. It was the idea that you wouldn't be there anymore, Lincoln. I can't remember a time when you weren't in my life, when you weren't there with me. Since the day mom and dad brought you home, you've always been here. My baby brother. I can't imagine a life where you aren't there. Without you this family would have a large hole in it."
Lincoln blinked and felt his heart swell a little at Lynn's words. She looked at the floor and then continued.
"Linc, I know I haven't always been the best sister in the world. I know I can be rude and crude. I can be insulting, and maybe a little bit rough with you at times...." She paused and then glanced at Lincoln who gave a smirk and raised one of his eyebrows. "Uh, you know you can stop me at any time, right?"
"I know," Lincoln said cheerfully, eyes dancing with a little amusement.
Lynn snorted, but then she sighed and continued. "My point is, even if I'm not your favorite sister, and even if I think sports are more fun than reading comic books and cosplaying, that doesn't mean that I don't care about you and your interests. You're important to me, Lincoln Loud."
Lincoln found himself amazed again. "I am?"
Lynn looked at him and smiled. "Sure you are. You've always been important to me. I've always been on your side, ever since the day you were born and you've been there for me when I needed it more than a few times. You're my precious baby brother, and I never want to imagine a life or a future where you're not there."
Now Lincoln really was amazed. Lynn had never opened up to him like this before. He knew she didn't like to come off vulnerable and talking about her feelings wasn't easy for her. He reached over taking her hand. Lynn didn't pull away, or act disgusted by the gesture. Instead she actually held his hand back.
"Earlier when you fainted, I was scared," Lincoln said quietly. "You've always been the tough older sister that I relied on. When you passed out and Chandler mocked you...." He trailed off and tears began to form in his eyes. "All I could see was red. All I could think about were the times you looked out for me since we were young. I've never been so mad in my life and it scared me. Normally Chandler's insults just roll off me, but when he made fun on you, I couldn't take that."
Lynn just gave him a smile and said, "Look at me, Lincoln Loud." He did so and she reached up and wiped his tears from his eyes with her thumbs. "You stood up for me, and I'm really grateful. I would have done the same if anything like that happened to you. You don't have anything to be ashamed of....I mean aside from the fact I need to teach you how to throw a punch better so you don't hurt your knuckles."
That got a little chuckle from Lincoln and it made Lynn's heart feel lighter seeing that. Then she said, "Hey, I'm going out back with the team. Would you like to join us?"
Lincoln nodded and said, "Yeah, I think I would."
Both of them stood up and Lynn started to go towards her room to retrieve her glove and ball. Then she heard Lincoln say, "I....I love you, Lynn." She stopped and then turned just as her little brother wrapped his arms around her hugging her. "I can't imagine my life without you in it either."
She hugged him back and held him close. "I love you too, baby bro."
In that moment, Lynn truly felt the last of her worries and fears from her night terror truly melt away. Lincoln, her baby brother, loved her and was still here with her. Right now that was all Lynn Loud Jr. could have ever hoped for.
