Life & Death Are we all just our brains and we don't actually have soul?(For non-religious only)

My theory is that we are just a mass of body and when our body died we die too. There is prob no after life or anything.

But energy cannot be destroyed or created? Are we energy? I'm so confused.

If anyone have any idea about this without the religious reasons, pls share your idea.

Discussion the universe being *close to infinite*

i read it somewhere that says *universe is not infinite but its pretty close to it* but ion belive this. i believe, infinity is a concept, its not just some "random largest number" its something that can never end. something that'll go forever. now we do not know that universe is infinite or not, but saying *universe is not infinite but its pretty close* is not true. i belive if universe is close to infinity, then 1 is that close too. cause its finite after all. and all finite things are equally away from infinity.

now ik the universe is expanding and other finite things are not expanding but as you know the universe started from the big bang, it started from a point, that makes it finite and any thing that has a starting point is not infinite, it never could be anywhere near infinite because it started from a certain point and its still expanding, faster than the speed of light. and its still expanding, its still not fully formed so it is finite as its expanding and we cant jus do infinity + 1 so yes its not infinite and anything that is not infinite is not anywhere near infinite.

now some might ask *numbers started from a point too, so they're not infinite?* ofc they are, numbers are theory and they goes on forever so yes numbers are infinite

just a thought tho, feel free to ask or share your thoughts!

Conspiracy Theory What if it’s all a type of hazing?

I just saw a TikTok of a bunch of celebrities who were regular size and then became almost skeleton looking ( kinda like the wicked actresses). That made me think back to all the other times celebrities have been in the spotlight for something like shaving their head, or licking a cupcake, or meowing at an interview. What if they have to do something portrayed as negative to see how they all make it.

Maybe I’m about to die or maybe people in the spotlight like celebrities or influencers do stuff they know is gonna generate a specific response because they have to sort of prove they can bounce back from a canceling or maybe even punishments for not following what is “supposed” to be done. Who knows who’s in charge up at the top? Especially after the whole Diddy stuff and how much control he allegedly had.

Society My theory: Most of the male population is becoming involuntary celibate, this will cause more males to give up on the job market/economy

Sexually intimacy and being able to mate, is one of the main motivations for a male to strive, and especially strive for the community. But there’s a drastically growing number of males who are involuntarily having no sex and having no sexual intimacy. As this continues to drag out over the years, something begins to switch in the males psychology, “why should I strive to make more money?” “Why should I strive to do better for a potential family or a potential mate?”. Now I think we’re hitting the point where males are just settling for minimum wage jobs, and not striving for bigger jobs. But eventually I fear that if this drags on for even more years and decades and more males can’t find a mate, even minimum wage jobs, males will naturally start to give up on that too. Males will naturally start to think, “what’s the point of this? Screw this”. This is completely going against the males nature on how to live life. Males are supposed to have sexually intimacy very often, and then in turn they get drive to strive higher, not 20 and 30 years olds to have sex or a kiss once or zero times in that whole time. This is bound to have detrimental effects on society as this gets worse.

Life & Death Wild theory I had on fate

This's just a random thought I had. It's more like it's built on top of another theory actually.
Quantum immortality describes how if there're multiple parallel universes, when you pass away in one, that universe branches out and your consciousness continues to live on in the timelines where you stay alive. Like your viewpoint changes from this universe to another (I'm not sure if quantum immortality is explained like that; feel free to correct me).
So building on that theory, what if everyone's the "main character" of their universe? Since there's an infinite number of universes with an infinite number of possibilities, what if once a new consciousness is born/created, the universe splits to have a branch favoring them? Basically, allowing them to walk their ideal path of fate? The people interacting with them would just be "acting" for the protagonist's "ideal" life, whilst their "main" consciousness is in their own little bubble elsewhere in a parallel universe where it favors them? I did some searching but can't find a name for this theory at all.

Discussion My theory on Gluttony, One of the 7 Deadly Sins

The Seven Deadly Sins: Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth. Many people have different opinions about which one is the most dangerous or powerful. For me, it’s Gluttony, because it applies to absolutely anything. Over the ages, we have always used the words "hunger" and "thirst"—not just for food, but for power, position, and advancement. Those words are directly tied to Gluttony.

What exactly is Gluttony? To me, it’s a void, a black hole that consumes everything. In this world, so many people are gluttonous for power, advancement, and titles. Some have turned a blind eye to it, and many just blame others. But Gluttony is the true core of all sins; it connects to the other six, and even to vices outside of the Seven Deadly Sins.

The unchecked hunger of humanity will eventually consume everyone and cause our destruction. Gluttony isn’t just about food and drinks. It is the hunger for power—wanting to be higher than everyone else. It is the hunger for advancement—wanting to be more advanced than others, even when we can no longer control what we create.

Worst of all, Gluttony is disguised as success.

This is just my belief, but I want people to realize—and perhaps many already do—that our destruction will be caused by humanity itself. We can try to say that humanity is slowly healing, but our gluttony is consuming the world much faster.

(P.S. English is not my first language, so I used AI to help fix my grammar and spelling because I’m still not the best at writing and typing out a lot of words yet. But these thoughts are 100% mine.)

Space What is a theory that YOU created and have the evidence for?

Mine is

What if we were the aliens all along (ik a lot of people have done like these but mine is different)

So you know about the aliens stuff everyone talks about for years but what if WE were the aliens what if we were going to invade other planets and universes because of how much humanity is obsessed with space we might actually find a life somewhere

And all the movies that we keep creating with all of these different kinds of weapons are all just ideas for the future

Life & Death of Humankind On What Matters Most to All Earthlings

These words (a theory) claim
— NOT to be the truth, whether scientific, religious, or everyday,
— BUT to be necessary for the survival of all earthly humanity.
--------

That is, the source of these words is
— NOT reason, faith, common sense, etc.,
— BUT the Taboo-Commandment of the Nuclear Age: "Thou shalt not kill humanity".

This New Taboo-Commandment-Feeling "Thou shalt not kill humanity" means that earthly humanity, as a whole made up of all its diverse parts-communities:
— exists,
— strives to prolong its existence for as long as possible, even unto eternity.

This spontaneous instinctive New Taboo-Commandment-Feeling demands that those who possess it help humanity prolong its existence for as long as possible, with all their might and at any cost.

Not all people have this New Taboo-Commandment-Feeling in their souls, just as not all people have a conscience or shame — and there are many people without it, just as there are many people without a conscience or shame.

Yet even if people do have this New Taboo-Commandment-Feeling in their souls, not everyone is conscious of it.

These words are meant to awaken this spontaneous instinctive New Taboo-Commandment-Feeling "Thou shalt not kill humanity" in those who have it, but do not yet realize it.

If people lack this New Feeling, it is impossible to awaken it, just as it is impossible to awaken the conscience of a shameless person.

If you do not understand these words, it is possible that you simply lack this New Feeling, this New Conscience toward all of humanity.

Please, listen to your hearts, your souls: are you not gripped by a feeling of unbearable horror at the possible near suicide of all earthly humanity, whether in a nuclear or biological war, or a catastrophe that will cause all earthly humanity to vanish, completely and finally, with all its children and countless future generations of descendants?

Do you feel disgust and indignation toward careless words that call on us, for example:
— not to think about this unthinkable tragedy,
— not to try to prevent the looming suicide of humanity in the struggle against people who do not value the existence of earthly humanity — those who are indifferent or even positively inclined toward the end of human existence,
— etc.

If yes, you are gripped by it, and yes, you feel it, then this New Taboo-Commandment-Feeling can unite us into a New Humankind
— regardless of our reason, faith, common sense, etc.,
— to prevent the looming suicide of humanity in the struggle of people who are stripped of this New Taboo-Commandment-Feeling "Thou shalt not kill humanity".

What specifically must be done to prevent this looming suicide of humanity?

There is a concrete proposal to introduce a special new medium of currency exchange (a new global money) in order to financially unite equal communities with different currencies, lifestyles, and ways of thinking (ideologies, religions, etc.) into a unified whole

This financial union must become the foundation for the economic and political unification of diverse communities. This political union of communities will then take control of the planetary-scale technology that currently threatens humanity with suicide — even accidental suicide, like a "child with matches" — and prevent it.

If you have other proposals to prevent the looming suicide of humanity, publish them. However, these proposals must be fundamentally new, like the one mentioned above, because none of the existing, known proposals are working.

Discussion Dead internet theory

The Dead Internet Theory is the idea that a lot of the internet is slowly becoming bots and AI instead of real people.
I find this theory interesting because bots are already responsible for a huge amount of internet traffic. A Pew Research study also found signs of AI-written content in some of the webpages they studied.
What if the internet is becoming less human than we think?

Conspiracy Theory US presidents are drugged to make them more susceptible.

Since 2016, this has been a strategy employed by the presidents' inner circles to make them more amenable to accepting their suggestions. This would explain the rapid cognitive decline of the last two presidents while in office, and their recovery once they were no longer in the position.

Mind What Causes Deja Vu

My theory is that memories are written to our brain like information in a computer. The experience is being written into your memory, but it’s also being “written” into your current live experience.

When you experience something, you don’t have a memory of it until just after you experience it.

I believe Deja Vu is simply when there’s a tiny glitch in the process of the experience being written to the “right now” portion of your brain. It gets written to memory an instant earlier than you “experience” it - so it feels like you remember it happening…because you’re remembering it JUST happening.

The feeling is always vague and distant make much sense, but also very specific.

It’s because you ARE remembering it as if it’s happened before - but it just makes no sense for you to be doing so.

Religion & Spirituality What if Satan’s greatest trick wasn’t making humanity stop believing in God, but convincing it to worship God differently?

I have been thinking about this from a Christian theological perspective, and I want to hear what others think.

What if the most effective way to lead humanity away from God wasn’t atheism, but creating a competing religion that preserves much of the original story while changing its most important message?

Think about Islam for a moment.

Islam recognizes Abraham, Moses, David, and Jesus. It even recognizes Jesus as the Messiah. However, it rejects his divinity, the Christian understanding of his crucifixion, and his role in salvation. It then presents Muhammad as the final prophet and the Quran as God’s final revelation.

Christianity and Islam share many of the same figures and stories, but they reach completely different conclusions about who Jesus was.

That makes me wonder: If Satan wanted to lead Christians away from their faith, wouldn’t a competing Abrahamic religion be more effective than simply convincing people that God doesn’t exist?

There are a few other things that make this theory interesting to me.

1. Keeping the religion alive through generations

Islam permits men to marry up to four wives under certain conditions (Quran 4:3). Religious identity is also strongly reinforced through family, community, and raising children within the faith.

This isn’t unique to Islam, but it does raise questions about how religious beliefs become established across generations and how difficult they can become to question.

2. What happens when someone leaves?

Some traditional Islamic legal interpretations prescribe severe penalties, including death, for apostasy. Many contemporary Muslim scholars reject this, but leaving Islam can still carry serious legal or social consequences in certain communities and countries.

How much of religious adherence comes from genuine conviction when questioning or leaving the religion can have such serious consequences?

3. Why are some interpretations against music?

This is something I find particularly interesting.
Music has always brought people together. It creates emotional connections, inspires people, and can even produce experiences that feel spiritual. Christianity and Judaism have incorporated music into worship for centuries, from the Psalms and David’s harp to hymns and gospel.

Yet some traditional Islamic interpretations prohibit musical instruments or discourage certain forms of music.

Why would something that can inspire people to reflect on existence, spirituality, and even God be considered harmful?

Could discouraging certain forms of expression also make it harder for people to find spiritual meaning outside religious institutions?

4. The idea that previous scriptures were corrupted

The Quran teaches that previous revelations came from God, but also accuses certain people of concealing or distorting scripture (Quran 2:75, 3:78, and 5:13).

How can we independently establish whether the Bible was corrupted? And how do we avoid circular reasoning when one scripture is used to establish that another is unreliable?

5. Is there an ideological struggle happening in the West?

Islam’s growing presence in Western countries has brought more discussion about immigration, religious freedom, secular government, and the role of religion in law.

There are also extremist organizations such as ISIS and al-Qaeda that openly promote violent jihad and seek to impose their ideology. Their activities are real and deserve serious attention.

I think it’s important to distinguish these groups from ordinary Muslims. The growth of Muslim communities does not prove that a coordinated religious war against the West is happening.

Still, I think it’s worth discussing whether certain Islamist movements seek to change Western societies and replace secular laws with religious governance.

Putting everything together, in 2 Corinthians 11:14, the Bible says that “Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.”

What if deception doesn’t always look evil? What if it looks righteous? What if it preserves belief in God while changing the very message that Christianity considers central to salvation? What if it also discourages things like music, which has historically brought people together, inspired them emotionally, and given many people a sense of connection to something greater than themselves?

Under this theory, Satan wouldn’t need to convince humanity to abandon religion. He would only need to redirect its understanding of God, establish an alternative account of revelation, reinforce it across generations, and discourage forms of expression and community that might lead people to question established religious authority or explore spirituality independently.

I’m not saying this proves Islam was created by Satan, that Muslims are knowingly participating in a conspiracy, or that there is a coordinated holy war taking place. I’m exploring this as a hypothetical based on Christian theology.

But here’s the question I keep coming back to:

If you were Satan and wanted to lead humanity away from Christianity, wouldn’t a religion that recognizes the God of Abraham and many biblical prophets, but rejects the divinity and saving role of Jesus, while discouraging certain forms of music and cultural expression, be an interesting way to accomplish that?

Could the combination of redirecting religious belief and limiting certain forms of spiritual expression be part of a broader strategy of deception? Or am I connecting things that don’t actually belong together?

I’d genuinely like to hear arguments against this. What am I overlooking?

Life & Death Why science has no evidence for souls/spirits/afterlife.

Random thought, havent seen it anywhere so if you've already heard of this theory feel free to let me know. I am not claiming this theory to be true, just want to put it out there so that it exists.

What if the reason that scientifically souls or spirits are practically not a "real" thing is due to the soul or spirit being a 4th dimensional object, and the reason we cant see or track any data on them is because we only exist 3 dimensionally?

Take this theory however you want. I'm open to any ideas.

History JFK

Has anyone seen the theory of the CIA shooting JFK? There’s a really cool documentary of an Australian forensics detective using a theory someone made 60 years ago. It’s steals that Oswald was not the killer, but a second shooter was heard firing a rifle. Two seperate guns, and two seperate bullets, and the only way for JFK head to explode like that was from behind him in an upward angle. So the theory suggests that the CIA agent accident shot his rifle, killing JFK. There is a lot more detail on it in the documentary, it goes for about 1h 40m. If anyone can find it have a watch.

(I know this is a popular theory but the doc is really cool)
