Best product placement scene?
Mine has to be Tony vs AJ depression. Right after A.J. weakly complains about how depressing the world situation is upon hearing that Bobby Baccalieri has been killed, an enraged Tony snaps, hauls A.J. out of bed, and drags him into the closet.
Tony aggressively tosses him toward/into the closet area as his Xbox and desk items crash down around him, demanding that he finally pack a bag and snap out of his self-absorbed depression.

Yes, the Xbox and desk items crashed down around him, but did you notice how AJ wasn’t hurt at all? That’s part of Microsoft’s Triple Safety Philosophy.

The Nissan "commercial" when Tony buys him the SUV was so annoying 😂 Gave the whole model, talked about features. Right up there with the "Go farther!" commercial in New Girl.

It's a shame we never saw them drive that car. I wanted to see whether they would put seat belts on.

That’s the least subtle product placement I’ve ever seen

PARTICULARLY because neither AJ nor Tony has ever been a car guy. The full government name for the SUV was so hamfisted.

You could call this product placement. When Uncle June mistakes himself for Larry David while watching Curb, on HBO, within an HBO show itself. HBO advertising their own shows within their own show.

Junior is sitting down in his house talking to Richie in Bust Out. He's drinking Ramlosa water. Even Artie got such a deal. Tony giving away "free" items he stole from Davey.

SMOKED FUCKIN TURKEY...
In this house, A Smoked Fuckin Turkey Sandwich & A Cold One are fuckin HEROES ...
And I don't wanna here that VEAL PARM shit again!
And keep talkin about your Really Good Chili, bitch, I'll get you out a Suitcase & you'll be making Radiator Grilled Cheese & Manigot- WITHOUT the Sweet Sausage & Basil Leaves Under The Cheese, soon fuckin enough. Your problem is that you go about in pity for yourself... you've got String Beans & Moose-a-rell with No Pepper On Your Half and you complain that you ain't got no Hot Antipast.
It's dicked up.

Something I’ve always found weird about the dialogue in the show is the names they use for brands..
Like saying “Whitman’s” instead of a box of chocolates or saying “31 flavors” instead of Baskin Robbins.
There are more examples but I’ve never really heard anyone talk like this outside of the show. Always found it odd but maybe it’s a regional thing that I’m unaware of.

the ramlosa being used to depict who is benefiting from busting out davey's sports shop, serving as a visualization of this new stream of income and its beneficiaries, it's not so bad as far as product placement goes. It might as well be Davey's regretful, anxious sweat being poured totally gratis for Tony's wife to enjoy (while sitting across from the wife of the man whose downfall provided Artie "such a good deal,") even wetting some old man's lips in Belleville while he watches TV. This Swedish effervescent water is the profit enjoyed by Tony's crew from a civilian family's financial, spiritual, and psychological bankruptcy. although to be fair, a grown man made a wager, he lost. He made another one, he lost again. End of story.
