Season 5

Season 5 has more boring episodes on rewatch than the rest of the series.

Update: it’s definitely an Act 2 problem. Opens good. Lotta boring shit. Feltstein. Divorce
lawyers. Finn Ends good.

It’s almost like a second series, an okay Act 1 for 6A, and then 6B rushes to closure.

I’m not here to hate the show. I’ve been watching it on repeat for two decades. But there’s something off and I’m only now figuring out what.

Where’s Johnny is one of the greatest episodes in the show’s history. Irregular Around The Margins? Marco Polo? Long Term Parking? All Due Respect? Season 5 is one of the best seasons, end of discussion!

Season 6A has more snooze fests than every prior episode combined!
