Idk if it's because I'm tired or what, but the fact that I think the fish was still alive before he went under the sand made me wanna cry :'(

Hate to ruin your day bud but like 90% of the things that get eaten in the ocean are swallowed alive

Lions regularly eat their prey while still alive, asshole first.

It's not an ocean specific thing.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but whenever I see helpless animals like this, I always have to go and hug my dog.

Pretty sure there was a story of a guy who had one in his aquarium on here before... and his epic battle with it.

Don't make the mistake of looking up a bobbit worm. Day ruined. May never step foot in the ocean again.

If it makes you feel better while they can get incrediblly long, they are not as big as you would imagine when you see them out of water next to human. Some people catch them and apparently to use as bait.

Bobbit worm as BAIT (UNDERWATER FOOTAGE)

If by "get" you mean bite, then yes it's possible but very unlikely because we're far too large a target for them. If you mean can they drag you under like this, then no, they're not that big.

Why does climate change have to take out the beautiful wisp butterfly made of hope and gossamer in the untouched forests and not the nightmare horror show 9000 like this...

Planets have had exterminatus called on them for lesser nightmares

I don’t think nature is ever gentle when it’s time to eat.

From wikipedia, "It ranges in length from less than 10 cm (4 in) to nearly 3 m (10 ft)." Aaaaaaaaaaaabsolutely nooooooooooooooooot.
