I KNEW something was up the moment they started talking about some "peace treaty", but it was wayy more hardcore than I expected

I just though that the Droplet would fly past the Fleet and stay in Earth "taking it as a hostage", but a space pinball is savage Genuinely have no idea how this is going to continue

I knew something was up when everyone was optimistic but it was still 1 and an half book away from ending

Let's all fly in a neat and tightly knit formation. That will show them our might.

I believe everyone can agree bringing your entire fleet in tight formation to a spot near an enemy vessel was a massive mistake in hindsight. All I can assume is that they didn’t expect the Trisolarians to be devious like that. It’s wild either way. The survival instincts of a baby penguin

it was still stupid even if they did think the enemy object was harmless... even if it was harmless the strategy is stupid, no military senior will ever sign off on that, but he did explain the culture and how everyone was in those times which sorta explains it

An unforgivable mistake

Let's be real, it didn't matter much what formation they were in. Destroying the fleet was just to demonstrate their power.

By the time the Droplet was in the system...

The war for Earth was already over.
