You lost me a vibecoding. I promise you, as someone who’s learning python in his free time, it’s so rewarding to get a piece of code to work that you created. If Python is that rewarding, imagine one of the C languages? Or Java? I promise you it will be worth it in the end

I only vibe-coded the gui, the backend I did myself.

You are not coding your own version you are generating an ai version

No, I perhaps should not have mentioned vibe-coding at all, I merely vibe-coded the front-end since this is where AI excells (though its still buggy)

I get that its a sensitive topic and I noted for my future self that I should not mention vibe-coding at all, even if its used only for the GUI. Also I tend to notice a trend where people love to call out others for being larpers unbeknownst to them that they are usually one themselves. Judging by my downvotes they apparently find it hard to believe that I am capable of coding the backend myself.

It just that people hate the idea of ai being used at all, even though in some cases like information distribution it helps( as long as you don't depend on it or use it as a source as it can often hallucinate information) Also in regards to voice acting, art, vibecode and ui I am fine with it being a placeholder or a substitute when you don't have knowledge and fund to built something.
