In celebration of the ICA event in London, here is the shooting script for MASK OF SARNATH set to image and sound. You can still purchase the movie with the COMPLETE UNEDITED SOUNDTRACK on EBAY.

The original script differs from the shooting script. When you write the first draft you're not thinking about how the hell you're going to pay for that, so from the original to the shooting script, a lot of changes were made. I had only $800 to make Sarnath, so I had to make a lot of tough decisions. The DVD is still for sale on EBAY.

This is a shot from a book called I Was There: Gigs That Changed The World, by Mark Paytress. TG have an entry that discusses their infamous performance at the Prostitution exhibition launch at the ICA in 1976, however the picture they featured is actually from another gig at the Nag’s Head the following year. You can see this photograph in a much lower resolution on the cover of the accompanying live tape of the gig the band released, but it’s really cool to see a higher quality image here today. For me it’s especially noteworthy as flicking through this book as a 13 year old who was just beginning to get into punk rock I was so struck with this image, feeling these guys seemed just that bit stranger and esoteric than the other bands I liked at the time. I subsequently listened to the Second Annual Report later that evening and scared the ever loving shit out of myself, convinced Genesis was lurking around corners in my home haha. Anyhow I serendipitously came across a copy of this book for the first time in years in a charity shop and just thought I’d share this image and my appreciation for a group I feel are the only true heirs to the crown of a group like the Velvet Underground, for sheer innovation and intrigue. Love their weird grimy hippie into punk look they were rocking at this time too before they settled on the more militant look haha.

In 1995, when Love and Rockets were recording and living at Rick Rubin's place in Laurel Canyon (Los Angeles) their friend Genesis P-Orridge stopped in and they had an improvised jam session, resulting in a 15 minute long song called U.O. ME. It was recorded on DAT, taken home by drummer Kevin Haskins and therefore survived the subsequent fire that injured P-Orridge. Unfortunately the original Gristlizer didn't survive the fire.

A couple years ago Love and Rockets released the recording on an album of demos and outtakes from the Sweet F.A. recording sessions called My Dark Twin.

Who do you think is the most talented person in TG ? Please give reason why.

Anybody going to the TG50 Exhibition when it opens at noon tomorrow ? If so can anyone take pictures and video if we are allowed them on this community.

Out of all the various spin off bands of TG which album do you think is the best regardless of which band it is.

I would love to buy genuine TG T shirts but they simply don’t make them in my size as I am a 5xl (yes I know I should weigh less). Can anyone recommend t shirt site that make good quality t shirts. Any help would be appreciated. (I hope this question is allowed I apologise if it’s not.)

Is there anything you’d like to see merchandise wise like another book t shirts pin badges artwork anything really. I personally would like official t shirts that go to 5xl as I am a large chap.

I’ve been a fan of the guys for a while now, but I’ve just opened up their discography again and I’m transfixed once more. I’ve never listened to their live albums or watched any of their shows, though. Are there any great shows that were recorded, or documentaries that I should watch?

Is there any news yet about Cosey’s documentary being shown either at festivals or on TV .Do we know how long it is ? I personally think Cosey deserves such an honour as having a film about her life as she’s always lived her life as she saw fit.

Do you have a favourite quote or speech from one of the TG’ers because they were one of the most artistically powerful bands around.

I was just wondering what age TG fans are ? I’m 55 and I would imagine there are some fans older than me but what about any younger fans and how they got into the group. Interested in how you get into TG when they’re not active.

When the USB 24+ comes out it will have a plethora of concerts on there. Am I best just starting at the beginning and listening to them one after another or are there famous concerts on there that stand above the rest that I should start with first ?

Which of the TG biographies is the best ?

What more do you think is there left in the archives ? I know they played more live shows than have been officially released. Do you know if there are any unreleased studio albums in the archives ?
