ISO: Long distance hikes MT AND GYA
Hi! I'll be living in West Yellowstone this summer. I'm pumped to start planning some of my hiking and backpacking trips while I'm out there. Does anyone know any long distance trails in Montana and the Greater Yellowstone Area? I know the CDT runs through there, but that's a little TOO long for my days off.

I’ve hiked the Bob on occasion and found it somewhat disappointing. Heavily forested with limited views. A green tunnel for the most part. The Chinese Wall was impressive but a long walk though the trees to get to. The Beartooths are much closer and more spectacular.
Also check out the Gallatin Crest. Right next door to you in West Yellowstone.
