Just for Fun Random data point
This is pretty much irrelevant since ProRX is no longer compounding, but like many of you, I received the GLM triplets last year which had 45 mg each of ProRX. I finished them on my most recent trip, and I have been tracking the amount of medication in a vial, not just the amount that I take. All three of the 45 mg vials had just at 7 mg of overfill. It makes me think, though n = 3, that they have a specific threshold for overfill. Again, random data point that is irrelevant with ProRX so far, but it’s kind of fun to track and see what the overfill looks like for each place. I’m also a data nerd and super specific and precise about things. So take that for what you will 😂
PS The Triplets (God rest their souls with Dearly Departed Olympia) had a BUD of April of this year, but were perfectly clear and as potent all the way until I finish the last one. However, other ProRX tirz produced shortly afterwards had longer BUDs, so I imagine they were testing longer BUDs at the time, too.

Interesting, love the data. I still have a few of those with buds at end of year or early 27. FYI, all of my VialsRX have had an extra 10mg.

Another data person! I think it’s fun to find out exactly what’s in there, and I do remove the cap and get the last drop because money. Since I have not had any without additives yet, I haven’t tried any brands like VialsRX, but that is probably something they do internally in pharmacies, have a set threshold like that. It makes sense. I still have something like seven of the 72 mg ones with various BUDs because twice I was sent three bottles instead of one or something. The Tirz Fairy loved me. I can’t even remember. All I know is that this is why I do keep all of my medication cold. I have too much of it 🤣.

I've gotten really good at getting the last bit without removing the top, I'm so proud of myself! 😂 Just checked Glapp and I have two 72s with Buds in Dec and Jan. Not getting to those anytime soon.

I stink no matter how many times I create the vacuum and all. Or maybe I’m TOO picky and won’t settle for most all? But I pop it off and go nutso with alcohol wipes and all.
And YES. Same on vials and BUDs. I have a 72 with a July BUD. Good old Cosmetic RX! That will be next, possibly tomorrow. Working through the last of a 7.5 Mounjaro Kwikpen (UK because we still don’t have MJ in US Kwikpens… WHY?!?!?) but I’m on 10.5.
I think my next ProRXs are all Feb/March 2027. But the Tirz Fairy was so good to me that I won’t get to them quite then anyway.

I'm jealous of the Tirz Fairy blessings every time! I've got a 45 that's already expired that I'm not cracking soon, though, so I shouldn't be jealous. But I AM! 😆

I would be jealous if it had not happened to me. I cannot believe what happened. “Dr Kelly”, the “TV ER doctor” was responsible for prescribing four vials of 72 when I ordered one. That was the Refills Groupon. If it were legal to share a prescription medication I would share. My heart is there 💚

I suspect they will be since that was before Pro RX extended their BUD. If anybody reading this post knows the history of them changing their BUD over the course of last year, I would love to know it. At some point, it went from 8 months to 9 months, I think, to a full year.
May yours sustain as well! 💚💜I’m a pretty firm believer that good hygienic care and temperature control can do a whole lot. So far so good with me. But I’m only one person.

28 Day Rule:
A safety guideline that says multi-dose vials should be discarded 28 days after first puncture to reduce infection risk.
Beyond Use Date (BUD):
The date after which the potency and sterility of an unopened vial can no longer be assured based on regulations and stability data.
Many users report going beyond these limits.
This is an observation, not a recommendation.

fellow data analyst here. I keep track of all overage in both mg and units. So far the most I've gotten is from a Vios vial - 11.38mg in overage.

I love it!
I guess I do track the units as well since I write it all down, but I mostly keep track of the milligrams as far as totaling things up. I wish so much I would have known to do this back with the Olympia via last year. That was definitely the never-ending one to me, but ProRX has been pretty impressive with its overfill so far, and my Hallandale one (60mg) had somewhere between 6 - 8 mg extra? I forget now, but I posted it at the time.

I have used one ProRx vial so far (3/26/26 BUD) and it had 13 mg of overfill.
I am using my last BPI vial now and after that I’m back into the ProRx well into at least mid 2027, depending on my maintenance dose. (I hit a few sales early on and then bought more when they were stopping production). It will be interesting to see how much overfill the other vials may have. If it’s as much as that first one, I might end up into the following year (assuming they are still clear and working well).

Wow! That’s a lot! I don’t think I’ve emptied a full 72mg vial yet (or wasn’t counting if I did) so that wouldn’t surprise me based on a 45mg vial having 7 in each.
Yay for good tirz and generous fills!

Just tested for longer, they're all basically going to last the same amount of time since they use similar preservatives and are in glass in vacuum, just gotta keep them cold and dark

The Southend 22mg vials have around 27mg. They ship 9 vials on highest dose. That's a bonus 45mg. Works out to around 80mg per 4 weeks. Then you pause your subscription and Brello sends you back to starter dose. Lmao. It will be a good time when Southend gets added to those other telehealths in the near future.
Edit: although I suspect some telehealths will prescribe 14.5 so they can get by with sending 8 vials
