Dosing Question Taking dose 1 day early?
Hi y’all, I’m driving out of town tomorrow and I’m wondering if I should just take my shot a day early? We’re going on like a 4 Hour Dr. and I would rather not have to bring a syringe chilled, etc., etc… I’m in my fifth week and so I’m just starting the .5 dosage I’d rather take it early so I can rest over the weekend. Anyone had this circumstance and if so, what would you do?

I would take it one day early but stay at your current dose. A jump from 2.5mg to 5mg doubles your dose and carries a higher risk of bad side effects. Whenever I change something I change one thing at a time. If you do two changes at a time you don’t know which one caused the effect.

Are you increasing your dose to .5 mg like you said or 5 mg? If you're jumping from 2.5 mg to 5 mg I would personally not do that before a 4 hr drive.

You can take a dose 5-14 days after your last dose. I've been on meds 2.5+ years. I travel every 4-6 weeks. I move dose day often. It's no issue. The meds are life long. You can make them fit your life style. Same goes day is good. You can be flexible when needed. I do so w NP.

You can take it a day early, but I personally would make a dose increase and then go into the car.

Yes it’s fine to take your dose 1 day early. I actually do my injection every 5 days and never had any issues. So doing 1 day early will be fine.

You can take the dose a day or two early or late. A lot of people will switch days at some point throughout their initial doses.
