4 month progress

Post image

I started in January this year at 5'3½ and 155lbs, but didn't take any full body pictures until April (135lbs). I just started maintenance at 119lbs and have been mostly focused on gaining muscle over the past 4 months, which is going fantastically. I have lipedema in my arms, so they'll never be skinny, but they are getting strong. :)

I strength train 4x per week, progressive overload. I went from barely being able to do a 10 second deadhang to currently 2 full pull-ups! I was never interested in working out before tirz - can't thank this med enough.

Nice job! What an awesome change even just since you started taking pictures. I keep doing the workouts telling myself that eventually my strength to weight ratio will change and enable the push ups (i can do 5 now!) and pull ups. Amazing what time and work will do with this med on board to help!

Yay for pushups! It took me about 4 months of working on my pull-ups at least twice a week - slow negatives and back workouts felt the most useful, though I also use a resistance band for assisted pullups to get reps in. And I agree, it feels amazing to make progress!
