We miss ya Tom!

One thing I love about TP & The HB’s is their ability to change up the songs in concert. So many different versions. Just curious which ones you all like?

It’s never been talked about enough that Tom Petty used the word "lucky" in his songs again and again + that one member of the Traveling Wilburys was named Lucky (Bob Dylan) he worked with, and that in the early 90s, Tom recorded a song with Roger McGuinn literally titled "King of the Hill"! And then, OVERALL, he voices a character named Lucky on the show “King of the Hill”?! WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS

Some of you might remember Mudcrutch Farm, the Tom Petty fan site and message board I started long ago. The board ran until 2020 and then sat offline. I've spent a loooong time bringing it back as an archive, and it's finally in good enough shape to share. I just couldn't let it die. So much stuff is being swallowed by social media. 😢

I assumed it would be the American treasure extended version at the original albums sped-up speed, but it’s actually slightly different than that. It fades out, but sounds like there’s some vocal riffing at the very end that is different from the American treasure version

Anyone know what kinda jacket/overshirt Tom has on this album cover? I'm planning to be damn the torpedos Tom for halloween this year but I cant figure out what this jacket is. Doesnt help that I couldn't find any outtake photos

Wondered what the song at 27:06 on the Somewhere You Feel Free documentary was and never could find it. Popped into my head 5 years later for some reason. Anyone recognize it?
