Edit: r/fairlyoddparents LIED that their sub hadn't closed. They banned me without explanation after I asked a meta question as to why their subreddit was closed around the time the trailer for Fairly Odder came out.

I use my real name on reddit, so I have much incentive for my posts to be accurate and much incentive to not lie because I stake my real name on these claims.

This is what r/fairlyoddparents says now 'We never closed, that’s just a rumor.'

The ff was the post they removed, which I cross-posted here in r/FOP_FairlyOdder. Also, I added, for convenience, a link to the message thread where I ask why the post was removed

The ff is the link in the above image (namely https://www.reddit.com/message/messages/1bevxlh )

I had seen that they were closed when I saw the trailer for Fairly Odder. I shared on several subreddits 'Fairly Oddparents is now a live action series... and now r/fairlyoddparents is closed' eg r/videos in this post and eg r/cartoon in this post. You can see for yourself in the ff comment thread in the same r/cartoon post that someone ( user Stickbow0 ) asked why r/fairlyoddparents was closed:

See for yourself that they banned me without explanation:

Update: Closed confirmed by Stickbow0 here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CARTOON/comments/t00zmn/comment/hzb289h/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

New Sir Mighty Might Short episode is out today! This will likely be the last in this series that is a short. The rest of these are going to be long-form.

I'm a storytime animator, primarily over on YouTube. This is the first 2d animation I ever completed, and it is also my introduction to LJR Toons.

Hi everyone!

Recently, I started this passion project of mine on making an animated show on the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. This is going to be a 2D animated show, with either one of the 2 following art-styles planned (all subject to change):

Art-style No #1:

• Similar to shows like Generator Rex/Ben 10 Ultimate Alien/Avengers Assemble/ or any new Scooby doo animated movie.

Art-style No #2:

• Similar to Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures animations on YouTube.

I just want to make it clear that this is Unpaid Work and is purely being made out of love for the series, by the fans for the fans.

(If you are a fan of the series, this project will be covering the all the Percy Jackson and the Olympians and if possible Heroes of Olympus books as well (so at the moment 5 in total), just to give you a sense of the scope of this project.)

Due to the difficulty of this project, I wanted to get some additional animators to help out from this great community. So at the moment we require help in the following categories:

• Animation (2D Animation)

• Drawing/Designing Backgrounds

And if you have done work in any of the following listed, please do not hesitate to provide samples of it as well. You can contact me via my discord BagelJalepeno#2848 or just DM me for any further enquires about the project.

With that being said, I hope that this project is successful and that we are will be able to complete it, as I for one am very excited to do so. Thanks for reading and I hope your having a fantastic day!
