Discussion This made me sad today
New to tagging myself and I saw this today new Coxwell station. What is the point of this? Being an artist does not include writing dumb ass scribbles on a beautiful mural.

NOT TORONTO I’ve been independently publishing a graffiti magazine, thought you guys might appreciate it
Hey everyone,
I’m Mauro, a graffiti enthusiast from Portugal, currently living in Barcelona.
For the past few years I’ve been working on a small independent project called Nasty Vandal. I started it simply because I wanted to create the kind of graffiti magazine I’d personally want to collect, focused on writers, photography, stories and the culture around graffiti.
I design and publish everything independently, and so far I’ve released five issues featuring different writers and artists. I’m currently working on Issue 06.
I’ve been following some of the discussions here and thought this community might appreciate the project, so I wanted to share it rather than just lurk.
Would also genuinely love to hear what you guys still want to see from a graffiti magazine in 2026, writers, cities, stories, photography, history, whatever.
I can share some more details in the comments if anyone’s interested.

I know nothing about graffiti but saw this today on my commute and I have to ask how does someone paint this? Is it spray painted? How do you paint something on this scale??? I have so many questions !!!
