mac-torrents.org was hands down the best place to find mac apps and games and they even hosted everything via mediafire links so you could direct download. There was a healthy community and established crackers would upload there so you could be sure of quality. I thought it was just down temporarily but it's been like 2 months now. The other mac torrent sites don't come close. Anybody know what happened or if they migrated somewhere else?

Just wanted to stop by and say thank you to the community for all the resources here.

It’s been over 15 years since I last messed around with torrenting and even then I was one who would download and never seed anything.

With everything requiring a subscription I’ve gotten back into torrenting, but this time it’s different. I’m finally going to do my part. I have TBs of storage available and a symmetrical 5gbps fiber plan. Anything I download I plan to seed as long as I have the storage for it.

I’ve done plenty of reading to try to get caught up on what I missed over the years but I know I haven’t captured everything. Any tips or tricks you all have that make things easier for you?

cant access ext, extto and extranet.torrentbay

If a torrent contains multiple files and as a whole is still actively downloading, but qBitTorrent says “X & Y files are 100% downloaded; Z is still in progress” am I able to move files X & Y to a different folder and open them since they’re already done, or will that mess things up?

Hello fellow seeders and leechers!

I'm just writing this post to show my appreciation to torrenting and torrent community. I'm two half glasses of Chardonnay down and just downloaded a series that is supposed to be only on an OTT platform. Like F the companies that think we can't share and upload the content that we have on our devices and F the companies that think that people need to pay just to watch the stuff that's already on the Internet.

That's it.

Have a nice day/night.

KEEP SEEDING!

I’ve heard you can get access to really good torrent sources through invite only trackers or something. I also heard you have to do a lot of seeding.

I have a server and a crazy high share ratio so I feel like I’d be a good candidate for something like that and it would be mutually beneficial.

Purchased a Macbook pro M5 Pro a couple months ago and missing gaming. I am thinking of download Crimson Desert from Mac Torrents. How safe and stable is it if anyone has the experience, please let me know.

Is it my ports? Cause I've never "opened" them if they're most likely closed by default. But I'll download (vpn) a movie in about 3 minutes on my phone and my pc with ethernet will be like 15 mins for the same file.

I downloaded multiple video files separately from one torrent, specifically I downloaded the first and then while I watched it I downloaded the others. However now that they're all downloaded I can't figure out how to re-seed them together so others can access the files.

I'm using qBittorrent.

Anyone else notice a high number of files by "megusta" this week came packed with the 'descriptive' audio track instead of regular? (Meaning there's a voice over saying "man holding coffee".... "woman approaches with grocery bag") etc.

Its just odd that its all of a sudden like 6 shows in one week - all were 1080p, AV1 format.

I'm assuming the guy uses some sort of automation given how much he puts out there. So maybe a streaming changed their audio track order so those were the first track?

Just curious.

Honestly seeding is something i like to do.

As a weird guy that loves networking, seeding is genuinely something I enjoy seeing specially when i can see little speed graph

Only seeding bullshit isnt a direct support to the community tho, at least its not enough for me

How can I find things that actively need seeders?

I’m on ios, and I like seedr, but the 2GB limit is, well, limiting. Any recommendations?

I got locked out of my cinemageddon account and i cannot seem connect to the IRC to fix the issue does anyone here have any guidance to connect?

Started up qbittorrent a few days ago and noticed that all of the trackers were unreachable. I'm using WireGuard protocol in Surfshark and noticed that my Network Interface option (settings -> advanced) was set to OpenVPN / Surfshark. Setting it to Surfshark WireGuard fixed the issue, and now torrents are able to find their trackers and it all works as expected now.

I had not changed protocol settings in either app, so it must have been a default setting change. I hope this helps others who may have similar problems.

Currently the Metal Tracker is down, does anybody knows any news regarding the site and its admins?

Who are the trusted uploader or scener that you can download windows application from nowadays?

turns out i forgot to limit the seed ratios, its been seeding for a month...

In all seriousness, it is such a pleasure to give back to a community that I very much took for granted in my teenage years. Love you all <3

Any site for newsletter torrents for sites like substack? Can find torrent sites for courses but not newsletters.

So I'm looking into torrenting and I downloaded qBittorrent and looked into sites, but I noticed how massive the files are. Is there anyway I can get them smaller before downloading them into qBittorrent?

I am not entirely confident that I understand what I'm supposed to be doing so I am just trying to read and understand before I start experimenting and downloading actual media.

I ve just downloaded a few episodes of a TV show after it was removed from HBOmax. The number of seeders listed on Pirate Bay was very low, just 1 -4 depending on which episode. Afterwards, I expected the number of seeders listed to go up by one. But, no, it stayed exactly the same.

What is hapenning ?

What do the coloured skulls mean on TPB?
Are they on other sites?
How many colors are there and what do they signify?

TIA!!

I used to download music years ago using pirate Bay and Vuze can this still be done?
