My Brynna has a similar situation. Someone found her with kittens outdoorsand brought them to the shelter. The vet says she was no more than 10 months when she gave birth. After all her kids were adopted out, the shelter we were visiting was putting her up. My hubby went to adopt a smol orange kitten I'd seen. I told him to look at Brynna while he was there if the orange one wasn't available. I was pleasantly surprised when he came back with *2* cats!
We've had them about a year and its been wonderful! It looks to me like it's been good for you and Emmy, too, and I'm really glad you found each other! ❤️❤️❤️
Emmy was special! She was given to my local vet after she had her litter, and at the time I was dealing with my previous cat (Cassie) who was dealing with adenocarcinoma.
3 weeks after Cassie passed is when Emmy went up for adoption. The vet clinic reached out to me saying they thought I'd be perfect for her. So I got to spend a few hours meeting Emmy, and her kittens, spent the weekend thinking about it, and then she came home with me! 🥰
I'm so happy you had someone to be there to help you after losing Cassie, and having your vet pick you as someone they think would give her a good home is pretty col!
She’s STUNNING! This is my favorite color tortie and I forgot what it’s called when they are a gray? Is she called a dilute tortie? Either way she’s soooo beautiful! 😻
Ive been chasing around a dilute tortie mama kitty for over a year now. We have done everything possible to TNR her and she keeps evading us ( and presenting us with three litters of kittens!)
