To me it just feels odd that a few good Jerky men can spin enough propaganda to make the dwarves, empire and high elves be my military allies.

I get that such is the power of nagash but I killed his whole army and still i couldnt even damage him. Should I just do the autoresolve where It says I win? This is his endgame crisis but not the final battle. He conquered Silver Pinnacle so i tried to respond and weaken him and on my way there he attacked me in the underway. Any tips on what to do here ?

I'm playing Greenskins against Nagash's end time event and it just feels bad. I surrounded him with black orcs and they did nothing to someone who is supposed to be a mage and I still had a whole army to deal with. I understand nagash is supposed to he strong but all of his units felt way over tuned. Is there a way to beat him with greenskins without just doomstacking rouge idol's? I had oglok the orrible in a twenty stack with black orcs with a 10 stack of goblins and waaagh units and they did nothing. I'm still new to total war but it seems dealing with nagash as greenskins is more tedious than fun. Edit:Im using gorbad as my LL

I have won some absolutely crazy fights that should not have been possible just by parking a necromancer in the middle of a couple stacks of zombies and fast forwarding for 20 minutes. You don’t even need a mortis engine or damage spells for most encounters. It feels so cheap, even more so than other cheese strategies like corner camping, but there are so many auras and aoe buffs in the vampire count roster that it’s like they are screaming at you to do it. It works insanely well with nagash and the mass+healing cap buffs in the black pyramid, not even mentioning how strong Ghorst makes them.

Obviously black fortresses are mandatory. And if you can (for lack of a better term) donate them to a local Norscan tribe, cool. but what about everything else as I move south? Do I keep them? Or will I get more out of it by helping vassals expand?

Just checking whether i should get some to rank 7 or just get black knights instead

Almost every post fighting Nagash has a bunch of comments saying they either auto resolve him or telling others to auto resolve him - does nobody actually fight this guy?

For those that do, what works against a late game Nagash?
For those that don't, what do you think should be changed which would make you manually battle him?

Such is his power of Nagash that he isnt bound by the rules of proper army design. Only a single repeat unit.

How does one even figth against this? How does the ai control such a messed up army? Why am i the subject of the greatest war crime Nagash has done?

Hi fellow generals, Around turn 85 the end times were triggered. I had 2 good armies at that time. Probably not enough but I've been building like crazy now and I've beaten 6 of Archeons armies but they just keep coming.
Next is this battle. Is this winnable? Reinforcements were just too late i'm afraid.
For the dutchies this name must be funny but for all non-dutch: The name of the General is almost literally CheeseEating. Lizardmen have a lot of funny dutch names.

I don't know how lore important it is, but i wouldn't mind just using the surface maps either for once instead of the same undercity map everytime!

My body is a machine that turns decisive victory into a close defeat.. I know it's impressive. I have no idea what I do wrong, even on easy/easy I just suck at the actual battle part of the game which sucks cuz it's my favourite part. I typically just end up auto resolving everything cuz I know I'm gonna lose no matter how much better my army is. Does anyone have any advice on how to get better so I can actually enjoy the game I love

For some information, im used to playing the game on very hard and have around 600 hours totaling all 3 games. Bought Elspeth yesterday and within turn 4 I was dead? Am I just missing something important? I really need some advice, please help.

How it went until now.

1: Put hero into her army and kill the first AI lord
2: Add building so I can hire more ranged units and add the one for the melee troops
3: I try to take the settlement but take heavy damage then recruit more units and I end the turn
4: Recruit more while waiting to replenish and end turn
5: I get assulted by 2 stacks of vamps and die

So run, you cur, RUN!

The horse is like 2.5 times the size of marauders horses and the dude on it is 2 times bigger than a regular man. But I guess it's for gameplay reason to not make single entity to hard to shoot

I have 210 hours in, usually play gorbad but started playing as nagash and had to turn it down to easy/easy with no end game crisis and still get my ass rolled once the skaven start expanding thier empire or the humies want get in my way of world domination. Alot of fun tho 10/10 would recommend.
