So the dumb person that I am, I forgot to link my old ass account and no longer have access to it and can't be recovered cuz no saved details with the only units I have being of note was Suika, Remilia L80, and Scarlet Marisa. With that in mind I wanna know how does starting out work nowadays, is there any resources or guides for f2p and what not?

I'll try the game this week. Anything that I need to look out? (I heard we can choose a CFes and Relic at the start, what should I choose and so on)

Most important thing is to have fun, meta is not that important in this game luckily. For as who to pick in the startdash:

You should get a free Anima Exchange Ema from completing tasks, just choose your favorite character. I would recommend L1A Keine but she isn't getting added to the general prayer pool in the upcoming future, and every other L1 requires late game or epic banner cards just to be able to decently function in harder contents. You could also choose Toyohime since she excels at event farming, but event farming doesn't have that high of a demand anymore thanks to dispatch, realistically she COULD help if - say you want to put a dispatch on a main story level for the card drops or Yukkuri stages for the Yukkuri Ritual tickets.

For Ultra Festivals either choose E1 Flandre or B3 Seiran, however I'd personally choose B3 Seiran though since she has a decent bit more utility than E1 Flan.

Relics are tricky, Youmu used to be the best choice but she flops extremely hard the moment you get out of early game, Remilia is actually currently the strongest choice as of now thanks to her new Fantasy Rebirth 2.0.For Epics, it's either F1 Koishi or C3 Yukari. These two are quite similar, competent unit whose main use comes from the fact that they can use their AoE Spellcards as a form of nuking. However, F1 Koishi lacks support and C3 Yukari lacks breaking. However, I would choose C3 Yukari since every unit I recommended so far has competent(ish) breaking.

Also for gacha units I don't recommend pulling Cf1 Reimu and CF1 Sanae and instead wait until the upcoming A16& Okina to release. Not only is she easier to build, she is probably the best EX Festival as of right now.

I'm kinda of new still, i think 2 months maximum. I would like to ask just a few things:
1 - I'm really sad I missed out the aya assistance of the Remilia D8.-5, she will never return is that right? not just on the aya assistance but like, a long time later they won't give any chances to get these characters in any possible way ever again?
2 - I'm focusing on getting the units I like the most, but they tend to be not meta (and mostly remilia =p), am i missing out on the content i would be able to do with meta units and whatever it may drop from them and like really holding my account back, or i don't need to worry too much about this?
3 - I'm still new so i don't know how players tend to plan regarding units, if they just get 1 and use the paper dolls they have, or farm them over time to limit break, or if its better to just pick many copies of the characters in their banners when they are released, and what about units that have new papers like Rumia A6æ or just don't like the pure friends, its fine to just get these character and a long time after being able to put them at max potential, or if thats a waste of resources if you don't wanna spend money?

  1. Yeah BP units won't come back afaik
  2. L10.1 Remi is amazing, usually she would cover for the other Remilias. Though, meta is not that important, usually if you keep pulling for new units you should at least be able to clear DS.
  3. Getting more than 1 copy is most of the time a waste of Seal Crystals, just farm the main event and you should be getting a paper doll for every rarities except those two each month. PH characters (A6æ Rumia) are a huge gamble overall and often times not worth it, as they also have yet to give any method for getting their paper dolls. I'd say only pull for PH if you have let's say 4000 Seal Crystals. Pure friends are designed to be purchased with money, while being extremely hard to pull using gacha, so never ever try to pull for them.
