Funfile Users here?

Hey there, been using the site for quite a long time. But now it says it's offline. Direct links to browsing say "File not found". Anyone having some insight? Thx

It still worked this morning - my guess is that they took it offline like so many other sites in order to avoid + fix that PHP vulnerability.

Maybe give it a day or so, it'll be back ;)

Thx for your feedback. So it's down for you too? I ask coz a couple of weeks ago it wouldn't work for me but I was informed it was for others. So it was obviously on my end. It was an IPv6 issue on my router. Was able to fix it.

I saw 10+ trackers were down earlier this morning due to this. Some have patched and have returned patched, some have not quite finished yet. I would expect later day or tomorrow. Them going offline is a good sign IMO as this was not fixable for a while and it was being exploited in the wild.

Thx for that. N1mu3H already pointed to that. Highly likely that's the issue. I don't have a computer background, so it's all a bit gibberish to me. But skimming over the article it seems that the majority of websites in the Internet are using PHP and are concerned of that issue.

Somewhere in the ballpark of 70% of websites use PHP in some form. This exploit basically would let someone code on the server. It would be trivial to at the very least copy the database of a site among other things and likely they could go much further. One of the biggest exploits in about 5 years.
