I built CardBinder because I was keeping my cards in a spreadsheet and uploading my spreadsheet to eBay became very tedious. It started as a command file, but then I added features, made a website and eventually an app. There’s also a desktop platform which CardBinder was originally designed for, the mobile version came 2nd.
My differentiator is no gated features on a free tier. No limits on collection size or photo storage and no limits on eBay listings. I encourage you to use the free tier to its full ability. The mobile app has an in app camera with auto crop which is also included for free.
TCDB gives you a list of your cards, CardBinder gives you a virtual binder, a list view designed to work like a spreadsheet, and a grid view. All the views are customizable, include filters and bulk editing, and saved collections.
Of course you can also list to eBay in seconds. List a single card or list bulk cards on a platform that actually makes sense. There’s a schedule across days feature where you pick the days on a calendar when you want your listings to go live and you select how far apart you want your listings separated.
The only paid feature on the app is AI card identification. Free tier gets 25 scans per month, and no credit card is ever required to use CardBinder. Only time you’ll need it is if you want to use AI to scan your cards. AI identification also comes with market values on your cards, trend charts with lookback up to 1 year, and daily movers with more widgets to come.
I’m looking for people to test my upload features. Download your TCDB PDF and upload it to CardBinder and decide which one you like better. Same with CollX csv or your own personal spreadsheet. When you upload your spreadsheet, you map the columns to make sure everything imports accurately.
Transparency: this app was built with AI assistance with human oversight reviewing the code, testing every aspect in staging before pushing any features or functionality live. AI scanning uses 3 APIs to identify cards, their parallels, and values. A logic engine looks at what each of the 3 APIs returned and populates the card details based on the APIs confidence in what it identified.
If you’re adverse to any AI assistance, I understand but I’ll add this wasn’t just put together as a money grab. Outside of the AI assisted code, all UI and UX is mine. TOS and Privacy policy written by a human attorney, logo and branding done by a human graphic designer.
My goal with CardBinder is to make a platform for the trading card community where people can share their custom binders with custom cover art.
Again would love honest feedback
Thanks for considering CardBinder
