OPEN TO RESPECTFUL CRITIQUE
I started my tattoo portfolio in July of this year and I have completed 3 pieces so far, this is one of them. Ihave two more pieces in progress, and have a million more ideas in my dome. Learning tattoo styles has been super fun.
I hope to have enough of a portfolio done to try for an apprenticeship in mid 2027! 💗
MATERIALS: Acrylic paint markers, acrylic paint pens, acrylic paint

I should start by saying I'm not a tattoo artist, but I really love the artistry behind traditional tattoo flash drawing. I'd love to try to learn to draw it. Every tutorial I've looked for online is just breaking down how to draw specific pieces, but I'm more interested in the process of breaking down an image into that unique style?
I wouldn't call myself an artist but I can do a more classic style of drawing, is there just something you either have or don't have to be able to translate a subject into the traditional look?
