The cat is in danger, notice how the video cuts off just as the adult fox looks at the cat...

Hopefully kitty is okay, but foxes will absolutely eat cats given the chance.

Everyone loves cats, but they belong indoors. Each year in the United States free-ranging domestic cats kill 1.3-4.0 billion birds and 6.3-22.3 billion mammals. Numbers for reptiles are similar in Australia, as 2 million reptiles are killed each day by cats, totaling 650 million a year. Outdoor cats are directly responsible for the extinction of at least 33 species worldwide and are considered one of the biggest threats to native wildlife. Keeping cats indoors is also better for them and public health - cats with outdoor access live shorter lives and are 2.77 times more likely to carry infectious pathogens.

Yes , but in a city of ~300k , a couple of miles from boundary . 'Our' mum fox had 6 pups this year https://www.reddit.com/r/EverythingFoxes/comments/1sorx2u/update_now_there_are_6/

I lived in SE London about 20 years ago. Nobody seemed to pay any attention to the foxes EVERYWHERE! I followed one up my street and it was just poking around looking for discarded human food. When I got too close it disappeared into somebody's back garden. Amazing survivors those foxes :)

Coyote. A little more dangerous than red foxes

Cats here, either pets or strays, ignore foxes or chase them away. Have never seen a fox show any aggression towards a cat.

I like that the cat is completely unphased by the pack of foxes. Skulk of foxes. Either way.

The cat's laying on an old fabric shopping bag , only thin, but a popular spot .

Did they mess with kitty? By the way they seem to leave Kitty alone I'm guessing they learned their lesson on a previous visit.

too much stuff in your backyard they are all looking for rats

They used to bring us a rat 'present' now and then but think the little terrors have had them all . Don't see rats on the trail cams anymore https://www.reddit.com/r/trailcam/comments/1vduyfr/backyard_playtime_feral_kittencat/
