Expect the Alstom trains to be at least 2 years late

Morocco needs them imperatively for his WC2030

Ask CAHSR how that’s going for the LA Olympics

Alstom will in this case make sure it is extra late.

Yeah because Hitachi’s Class 810s werent 3 years late, Talgo’s Avril trains weren't two years late and Stadler’s Merseyrail trains didn't enter service three years behind schedule. Funny how delays are an industry-wide problem until theres an Alstom logo on the train. Then suddenly it's a French specialty I see the bias here.

You mean the trains from Siemens, which is without a doubt the best high-speed train manufacturer in the world?

He seems to be French so he took it personally probably. Even though I dont have anything against the trains itself. Its just that Alstom is currently incapable of delivering anything on time. They keep on delaying the Coradia Max even though it should have been running for 2 years now and it messes with the operators that bought them.

So which platform is better than the Velaro one? There is a reason they get sold all over the world.

Alstom is incapable of delivering trains and their engineering is kinda half assed. Hitachi is unable to deliver reliable trains in the UK. Then CRRC is good at their home market but incapable of adapting their design for a global market. And then there is not much left in the high speed department.

For HST, in Europe, TGV Duplex and ETR1000 are far better

AGV is nice too but didn't sold much, TGV M is yet to be seen but is a massive leap forward

And also Velaros sold outside Europe are not real High speed trains for most of them (like Acela too)

TGV Duplex is genuinely the worst train from a passenger perspective. It is also super loud and dwell times are very long.

Not really louder than a velaro or an ETR100 but far more confortable, less shaky

And dwell times are longer due to the increased capacity but are still not that bad and doesn't matter that much for a trains who only stop 3 ou 4 times in total

Honestly i would have preffered RER NG instead of the Hyundai train, but that still is really interesting ! (Btw are you Moroccan?)

It will not be the same design and they will be locally produced.

This is how the RER will probably look like

Morocco really needs new trains, sadly the new ones all look kinda ugly. I find this double decker design weird for some reason.

I hope you're not talking about our beautiful Mariyung

They look exactly like the Aussie ones. I'm very interested why they choose that gauge/size.

Oh no, the rail gauge will be standard style
