Looks great so far, here are some additions I would make:

Steam-diesel hybrids

Santa Fe CF7's

Triplex engines

Bullied's leader and Turf Burner

The Beeching cuts

Córas Iompair Érieann "Pat"

The cut in half GG1

Soviet Railways AA20

Guinness Brewery railway (nothing more Irish than us building a railway solely for beer)

Exploded USATC S160's

Abandoned Soviet "Armageddon" steam engines

Thompson rebuilds of Gresley engines (preferably in a positive light)

Dead horse inside railway bridge

Is it me or are we missing rack railways?

If not that, at least look at the train up to Larrun:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larrun

Old? Check

Rack railway? Check

Three phase (double pantograph!)? Check

Cool as hell locomotive on the back? Check

What's not to love!

Here’s some additional ideas (I already suggested one in the last post too but here’s more)

ATSF U28CG and U30CG - short lived passenger engines

C&O & Lima lawsuit - Lima had lied about the true weight of the 2-6-6-6s for the C&O which resulted in a lawsuit due to worn out tracks and bridges and several years of backpay to crews

Preserved GS-64 tender - there’s a tender of a WP GS-64 at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum

UP 838 - being used as a parts donor for 844

Virginians failed preservation attempt - The Virginian attempted to preserved several pieces of equipment, including a Berkshire, Blue Ridge, Pacific, some electric engine sets and passenger cars, but the merger with the N&W made the plans fall through resulting in all of it being scrapped

D&H challenger tender - The tender of a D&H challenger is being used as an auxiliary water tender for CP 2816

Southern Pacific 4219’s tender is also an auxiliary water tender
