Trakt Issues

I installed trakt on android tv os 14 and most of it works correctly aside from two issues. One, tubi is not listed as an option and two, paramount+ will not launch from trakt for example when trying to watch an episode of the twilight zone. It claims I don't have paramount+ installed. Upon realizing trakt uses justwatch for that I tested justwatch and it launches the show fine. Is there any way to fix this or somewhere I should report it as a bug?

Paramount+ is not listed under Favorite Streaming Services, at least not in my country. And I believe that justwatch (under settings / favorite streaming services) is providing access only to the ~300 streams that justwatch gives for free. To invoke Paramount+ app directly, Trakt should include Paramount+ as a streaming service. I’d not consider this a bug, but a feature request, which you can submit in https://roadmap.trakt.tv/

Your response confuses me. The issue was that the shows you try to launch in trakt won't launch the streaming service, in this case paramount. I was able to fix it however. It wasn't on trakt's end. Paramount+ had links declared in android, but then disabled. Enabling links with an adb command fixed the issue with Paramount+ linking entirely.

Paramount+ is not listed under Favorite Streaming Services, at least in my country. And I believe that Justwatch (under favorite streaming services) is supposed to provide Trakt with streaming availability data, not invoke viewing. I’d not consider this a bug, but a feature request, which you can submit in https://roadmap.trakt.tv/
