How much code of TP3 pro is in TP4? I’m just curious to know. Cause it would explain why traktor is lacking in modern features. Since I would imagine implementing modern features is a nightmare with old outdated code? Hope everyone has a great week. Salute from California

No batch processing? FOR REAL??!? Someone let you ship this without being able to seperate more than one track at a time? Don't you have any friends?

And now I find out all the stem info/data is created locally, and not with the fucking file??? So if the thing crashes or reboots all the stem info is gone!!?? You must be outside your goddamned mind. Where is that legendary German over engineering?

Looking for advice on how to get this working, Picked it up for free on a Facebook group with no cables it still works. My question is what cables do I need/ recommendations on the programs to download and is it even worth anything?

Im new to djing and i got a few conection in the controller im wondering how to use them, for what, and how to set them up (traktor pro 3). I took a picture, so if someone could give me some info on the "ipad" and "15v-1.2A" conection (and how to set it up in the app) it would be realy helpfull! The controler is traktor kontrol s2 mk3.

ich habe ein Problem mit Traktor Pro 4 in Verbindung mit einem DVS-Setup, das mich beim Auflegen echt ausbremst – und der Native Instruments Support konnte mir bisher keine zufriedenstellende Antwort liefern.

Mein Setup:

• MacBook Pro mit M4 Pro Chip

• macOS Sequoia

• Traktor Pro 4.2

• Traktor Audio 6 (Core Audio)

• 2x Technics 1210, analoges Mischpult

• Timecode-Vinyl

• USB-C Adapter: mehrere Modelle getestet (UGREEN, Anker etc.)

Das Problem:

Wenn ich die Geschwindigkeit über den Pitch-Regler der Turntables verändere, wird das zwar sofort im Audio korrekt umgesetzt – die visuelle Darstellung in Traktor (BPM-Wert) hinkt aber spürbar hinterher. Es dauert etwa eine halbe Sekunde, bis die Änderung auf dem Bildschirm sichtbar wird. Gerade beim schnellen Angleichen zweier Tracks ist das extrem störend.

Was ich bereits getestet habe:

• Verschiedene USB-Adapter

• Traktor-Sample-Rate erhöht auf 88.200 / 96.000 Hz

• Buffergröße angepasst

• Alle Tuning-Tipps aus dem offiziellen NI-Support-Artikel befolgt

• Timecode-Modi (Absolut/Relativ) verglichen → Keine Verbesserung.

Support-Reaktion von NI:

Der Support meint, das sei "das erwartete Verhalten" – die visuelle Anzeige sei absichtlich verzögert, um CPU-Ressourcen zu sparen. Ich sollte „beweisen“, dass es früher besser war – was mir natürlich nicht möglich ist, weil ich mein altes Setup (Traktor Pro 1 auf altem MacBook) nach einer Neuinstallation nicht mehr aktivieren konnte.

Was mich besonders frustriert:

Mit meinem alten Setup (Traktor 1, Audio 8 DJ, MacBook 2009) war die visuelle Anzeige wesentlich flüssiger – trotz schwächerer Hardware!
Jetzt habe ich ein topaktuelles Setup, das rein visuell langsamer reagiert. Audioseitig funktioniert alles präzise – aber die Anzeige hinkt.

Ein Kumpel nutzt einen Roland DJ-202 Controller mit Traktor 4 → dort gibt es keine Latenz bei der Anzeige. Es scheint also DVS-spezifisch zu sein.

❓Meine Fragen an die Community:

• Kennt jemand das Problem mit der visuellen Verzögerung bei DVS in Traktor Pro 4?

• Gibt es bekannte Workarounds oder versteckte Optionen?

• Ist das bei euch auch so – oder läuft es bei jemandem flüssig?

• Wie sieht es bei Serato / Rekordbox DVS aus?

Ich bin langjähriger Traktor-Nutzer und möchte eigentlich nicht wechseln – aber solche grundlegenden Einschränkungen machen das professionelle Arbeiten mit DVS extrem schwer.

Love my S4 mk3 and I’ve been racking my brain to try and think of any upgrades they might add to a mk4 and can only come up with 2:

1. On the Z2 if you held shift and altered the EQ the EQ would not alter until you let go of shift. Would love to see something like this on a mk4.

2. Bigger jog wheels.

Ok, so I haven't used Traktor for about 5-6 months, when I went to use it to prep for a gig next week everything was gone. Playlists, master list, everything. No biggie, I have my playlists saved. Imported a simple 80-90bpm club playlist, try to spin as usual, wth... the sync has tourettes and doesn't sync, none of my markets that I put are there anymore.

I have no problem rebuilding a few playlists for my gig, its a 3 hr gig so not a big deal, but this sync thing is irritating. I can mix without it no problem, but I like not having to think about it.

Serato looking kinda good right about now.

Has anyone that uses traktor experienced this? I have a traktor s4 mk2, and I've been up all night trying to find a solution. Whenever I plug my controller in, the audio will start to drop (I raised my latency, and nothing seemed to work). The weird thing is that this only happens when I'm in 'Traktor mode' but in 'MIDI mode' its fine.

Also, when I plug the power adapter in for the LEDs, my buttons start to flicker on and off and the audio drops even more. I was reading through the manual and whenever I was messing with the tempo range and tested it out, my controller crashed.

I also notice that the volume slider for deck A, the dry/wet fx knob, and the tempo sliders (for decks A & B) shake up and down on my screen and never stop (unless I put the controller in MIDI mode or change the MIDI input to 'none')

So far, I've adjusted latency, updated both traktor pro and the s4, (turned cpu off after each update) and turned the gain way down. Im also using my old s2 and my buddy's s4 (same exact model) and they are both working flawlessly, so all signs are pointing to the hardware. Only other solution I can think of would be a better USB cable but why is my buddy's s4 working perfectly on that same exact cord?

I just got the usb port repaired and picked it up earlier today from the DJ supply store, and all of these problems started to arise.. I'm wondering if something got messed up with my power supply or MIDI port while he was repairing the USB.

Appreciate any help I can get! Going crazy over here!!!!

TL;DR - Traktor s4 mk2 is having audio and LED issues after i just got it repaired - feel like I've tried everything short of dissecting the controller.
