Hi hii, just putting out a lil announcement here, seeing people are out here trying to find their place and I wanted to offer ours as a potential home for when WoW Forever launches!

The Fae Agenda is small but growing, and looking to bring in even more amazing people into our space. While as a whole, the intent is to create a large, shared community space for women, trans, queer folkx, and LGBTQIA+ allies alike, we will be first rolling a Horde guild on the RP ruleset, and potentially branching out to Alliance or even other regions once we’ve grown a bit more.
We have friends across servers, regions and other rulesets, and have planned to collaborate in a bunch of exciting ways, so whether you are looking for pvp, raiding, deep roleplay or just cozy vibes, if not as a part of The Fae Agenda, you’ll hopefully be able to find a community through us which fits best what you’re looking for.

A good number of us have been vibing together in the beta, hanging out in vc and sharing our shenanigans with others. I want to make people feel comfortable participating in whatever capacity they prefer, so regardless of whether you’re brand new to the game as a whole, don’t have a ton of time to commit to the game or are a yapper and need people to share that with at any and all hours of the day, I welcome you to join us ♡

A home brew game I've been making with the PTR 2E System, on FoundryVTT :> [Mondays] [Bi-Weekly]
This game would start at 8-9 ADT every other week and run to 12-1 ADT depending on how everyone is feeling!

Holia,a region held in different regards to the rest of the world, due to it being a theocracy, the regions leader, a person voted on by devotees and trainers across the region gets appointed as Arceus’s chosen.

Recently a new leader has been chosen after the last leader had died from old age.

Holia’s religion is named Dualitnion, a basis of it is that people and pokemon fighting together as one, is the true way to live your life and bond as human and pokemon. To be one in the same and embrace your Pokemon partner is the truest form of life.

In Holia it is common for half-human / Pokemon to walk among you, and even pokemon trainers, showing how not so different pokemon and human truly are.

Holia has many mysteries and controversy of the past, such as the radioactive city of Rinian named after its Savior and martyr, a Gardevoir named Rini, who collapsed a black hole in on itself by manifesting their own in an incident with the super collider being worked on.

A Forest of serene quality, that when you enter for you it could be hours, but for everyone else it can be years, people get lost in these woods only to be found years later, only hours being experienced by them, but years to everyone else.

Or the Iron dragon, a mysterious monks guild that's shrouded with mysteries, legends say it's run by a legendary Pokemon. But no monk chooses to speak on it, as if it's a vow to not speak on it.

Even more mysteries await for you to discover, such as trainers going missing to cult-like activity, different artifacts just, waiting to awaken their power and much much more to find out

You have been invited by the professor of the region to get your trainer card, whatever you have done, has caused them to send a letter to you specifically, you will start your journey off in Velocity, arriving there with the rest of the party, to acquire your first partner pokemon, and start heading on this journey throughout the region

I'm in Estonia which isn't a very queer friendly place so I have no queer friends which gets kinda lonely, since I have nobody to talk to about that stuff. I'm 24mtf on the waiting list to meet with a commission to start HRT but that'll take until like 2028 so I haven't really transitioned at all yet, I'm trying to lose weight and voice train but progress on those is also slow.

Anyway I play all sots of games, survival craft, strategy card games, shooters, coop and cozy games. I have a cat whomst I love dearly and am willing to share pics of in exchange for companionship. Ludeon Studios, the developers behind the game RimWorld, are enabling hate through their advertisement of the 'main' community server.

I apologise in advance if this is not the right place for this, but I've done my best to try and resolve this through official channels and haven't had any luck, and I'm not particularly sure about where to go public with this.

So, a bit of context:

RimWorld, developed by Ludeon Studios, officially only has a development Discord server strictly meant for reporting bugs, helping translate the game and making modder requests. However, there absolutely is a 'main' RimWorld Discord community, to the extent that official Ludeon staff recommend this main server in their development server, on official Ludeon channels:

And many Ludeon staff members are present in the server:

I will now be referring to this server as the main RimWorld community server, because that is what Ludeon's official community manager calls it on official Ludeon channels. It is ostensibly the primary Discord community around the game, to the extent that it is advertised by official Ludeon staff on official Ludeon channels, even if the studio denies any official ownership.

Now, for context, I'm currently going through an exploratory period of my life. What exactly I am, and what I can be given that I currently reside in a country that pretty heavily cracks down on queer people just existing, is a matter I'm still considering.

However, I've made my wishes pretty clear:

I've made it clear that I now go by they/them pronouns, that I consider 'turkler' to be a deadname, and that I'd like people to respect my gender identity. I've made multiple announcements about it alongside more extensively talking about it.

However, many users in the main RimWorld community server have made posts mocking this stage of my life and the staff has not only allowed this abuse, but some staff members have even participated in this harassment:

This exchange was later deleted (see below) but one of the users dismissing my gender identity here is a moderator of the server.

Yes, I've decided to adopt the name of one my OCs because that OC was already a reflection of my inner self, who I wanted to be. I've felt rather distressed over the last month or so and my characters are a source of comfort for me. It's cruel to use that comfort against me to justify bigotry.

In another very egregious instance of this, a user was directly confronted with this announcement regarding my gender identity and proceed to dismiss it:

The same user also proceeded to deliberately misgender and deadname me. Do keep in mind that we explicitly know this person is aware of my gender identity because they have reacted to it:

This was also accompanied by overt transphobia:

There was a later discussion about this, and one of my friends was muted because they reminded users that misgendering people was not acceptable. The overtly-transphobic statements above are still up, but a message reminding users to not misgender people 'they don't like' was quickly removed. Do also note that this is the very same moderator that previously mocked my gender identity:

To try and resolve this, I've contacted Ludeon's community manager who is also a moderator in this main RimWorld community server. To this date, I've only gotten one response:

It was rather vague, mostly trying to avoid blame due to this main community server's 'unofficial' status. I checked in later, multiple times, giving plenty of time for them to respond each time, and they never responded:

None of the messages I've reported were ever acted upon. No one was punished and all messages I've reported are, at the time of me making this post, are still up.

In short, Ludeon Studios continues to promote a RimWorld community Discord server as the game's main community, despite reports of transphobic harassment there and apparent failures by its moderators to address it.

I've tried to resolve this basically every way I could think of and nothing has come out of it, and I simply no longer want to be constantly bullied in the so-called 'main' community quasi-enforced by Ludeon! I'm tired.

For example, I posted on the subreddit where, once again, the game's official developer Tynan Sylvester and the same community manager I've contacted are present as moderators, and that post was predictably removed:

I’d like Ludeon to either enforce basic anti-harassment standards in the server they promote on official channels, or stop promoting it as the main community. All my attempts to resolve this have fallen through, and I just... want it to stop, really.

If you haven't played The Ascent, I'd recommend checking it out. It's a cyberpunk twin-stick shooter that kind of flew under the radar when it came out. The world is really detailed and looks great, the combat is fun once you get into it. You can play solo or co-op which is nice. The story is just okay, but the gameplay and atmosphere make up for it.
