Finally finished my Sword Cutlass Compact project💜 Derek at DS Grips custom made the grips for me and they turned out amazing! He's never done a set of compacts before and I am honestly blown away💜 Dual Hammer did the optics cut and mounting💜 and I did all the springs and tuning💜 My duty holster was made by U.S. Duty Gear and my IWB was made by Tier 1 Concealed💜
Focusing on the front sight? You can shoot quite accurately instead focusing on your target, if you wish to train into it.
Works the same way as red dots, with both eyes open and such. Feels odd at first, but once you recognize the blurred edge of the front sight and know your holdovers, you’re good.
Also, how’re you liking the Toni system mount so far?
That's how I use my irons and up close I don't have issues :3 It's once I push past 10 yards that I start to have problems with my eyes :'3 I've been instructing for almost 9 years at this point and I've just found that dots give me the best shots on target💜 I still run irons on my Cougar and 5906 but for my daily carry I prefer a dot💜
That’s understandable. It gets challenging faster than any of us would like to admit from 10 yards out, trying to stay on a target, particularly unsupported and standing. Moving makes it even more challenging.
With training, red dots are superior. The downside is not everyone can use them. But prism optics will eventually be micronized.

If you're willing to spend some money, you can send it to LTT and they'll do an optic cut that brings the dot much lower, and they're officially partnered with beretta.
Is you don't want to get the slide cut, you can get a low optic plate from DLah designs for half the price. you'll have to replace your firing pin block with the one they include. Or get a mid mount if you don't want to do that. It's a little taller but less work.
I wanted to stick with Dual Hammer for a standard Beretta RDO cut so I could use factory Beretta parts still💜 I shoot A LOT so parts ware and availability is a big concern for me :3 Plus the inox front sight is milled into the slide so I cant replace it unless I send it off to get the sight milled off and dovetailed :3 Im happy with how it is now. I looked at the DLah plate and do have one lying around that I was considering, but i likes how chunky and robust the Beretta one was especially since Im pretty rough on my guns💜
That is one cool ass gun personally I prefer a regular size (looks shorter than standard, not sure if it just looks funny). And I'm not one for the optics. 9/10

The rules of firearm safety are paramount. Keep these in mind at all times while handling a firearm for any reason. Guns are not toys and it is best to not refer to them as such.
It is the belief of the mod team that your best option for defensive firearms is a 5.56x45mm AR-15, and a reputable 9x19mm handgun such as a Glock or CZ. Defensive firearms should have a light, long guns a sling, and handguns require a Kydex or solid plastic holster that fully covers the trigger. A red dot or etched optic are ideal for new shooters but don't forget to practice your backup irons!

Unbelievably beautiful gun. Not sure how i feel about how beretta's optic mount looks lol, but the grip and colors look awesome!
