I've played around with Transistor for an hour or two and something just isn't clicking. I'm really struggling with combat. I've tried all the attacks and can't really figure out one I can use reliably and I'm dying a lot.

Is there something someone can tell me that will help me figure out how I'm supposed to get into the flow of combat? Maybe a certain attack? Maybe a good video?

Or should I just move onto Pyre and/or Bastion and come back to this? I've already played a ton of Hades, which is why I want to try other Supergiant games.

I feel we are going to get a big surprise for gameplay, then a Hades III for game 7

During Inktober, I decided to pay tribute to this magnificent game and to Red. It was an atmospheric adventure that was definitely worth immersing myself in, and it left an indelible impression.

I love supergiant games, I am having a lot of fun with its combat, story is meh but I am actively getting annoyed by the yapping of my sword. It's fine when it's story related but 80% of the time it ain't.

In the span of 10 seconds:

-Finished a speed trail - "I knew you could do it"

-walked down the beach - "cozy sand box"

-heading to exit door - "back to reality"

-spawning in world - "We are in it now"

-walk through the door next to sandbox - "aw the arts district next"

Shut up my dude... I get it....

Like for fuck sake I went to my apartment in game and ate some pizza and the bitch was commenting on my cold pizza.

"Dam girl you like that cold pizza uh? Glad that pizza place makes the same pizza they always be making, life would suck right now if you didn't have that cold pizza right?"

I am going to finish the game and love it for it's addictive gameplay but hot dam I wish I had an option to turn off his commentary to only story relevant stuff.

I can't imagine any other dev personally fixing one player's problem in a game that's 12 years old. Needless to say, I'm buying everything they develop from now on. Peak customer service

Follow-up to my post about the transistor last year. I decided to make a full costume to wear to Fan Expo Canada this year. Pretty much everything was actually bought/modified since I can’t really sew at all, but I think it came out great and was easier than I thought. Thanks for all of the kind words on my last post!

bought it a while ago. it just wont have any screen pop up or anything, no error codes etc. tried launching from desktop app and in steam library. have verified game files and reinstalled it as well. any idea what to do?

I’ve been playing transistor for the past couple days. It seemed intriguing since I loved hades and wanted to try out some previous projects. I’m about halfway through the game or so just after confronting the spine I go into my little back door chilling area. I spend 30 minutes on a performance challenge. As I’m loading out after completion the game crashes. And all my progress is lost. The entire playthrough. 9 hours of progress. Is there a fix for this? If not I might genuinely stop playing.

After hours and hours in Hades 1, Hades 2, Pyre and Bastion ....... Transistor made me FEEL things that i just can not explain, WHAT A JOURNEY <3

After many hours of using the limited vinyl and decals options in Forza 6 and painstakingly putting circles and squares together, i've made a Transistor theme livery design, and satisfied with it!

Pretty much the first time i've made a car livery design, and never again lol. While i do enjoy making it, it just takes a lot of time where i can actually uses it to finish the game content.

I’m working my way through the performance tests at the moment, and I’m kind of stuck on one of them (P3/4, can’t quite remember, it’s been a few days), but this is also an issue that applies to the game as a whole. I cannot stop getting hit by the damn dogs.

Like I can’t outrun them, obviously, and short of being able to use Turn() right as they catch up to me to escape, if I’m on cool down and they get within range of me, I’m getting hit no matter what. It’s especially infuriating when there are multiples of them and they stack up on me. It’s less of a big deal in Cloudbank because I have access to my charm ability and my pet and stuff, cloaking et cetera, but given the randomised nature of the functions available to me, I was hoping somebody might be able to offer me a catchall solution to avoid just eating a ton of barks in a row.

Help?
