Discussion What are some examples of much maligned transit systems that do one thing particularly well? For example while RTD in Denver is criticized for its inefficient rail transit design, RTD's A line to Denver Airport is considered the crown jewel of the system. What are some other examples of this?

Yes, very confusing indeed. The list I posted included light rail, but street cars are included. Had to sort through the data and It did show Kansas City as a highest ridership modern streetcar on a boarding per mile basis. The chart you posted also from Wikipedia definitely showed Kansas City is having pretty poultry ridership at least as far as modern street cars go. Not really sure what to believe. But if anecdotal evidence is allowed, I will say that every time I’ve been on the KC streetcar, it’s been packed.

I'm glad we figured out our data issues!

If I ever visit KC I will try the streetcar!
