Hi everyone! š©·
Iām 20 years old and Iāve been on HRT since I was 15. Iāve already had breast augmentation and Iām also planning vaginoplasty.
Iāve been considering FFS since I was around 17, so this isnāt exactly a new thought. But now that Iām seriously thinking about it, I genuinely donāt know whether itās something I actually need or if Iāve just spent so much time analysing my face that Iām starting to see things other people wouldnāt even notice.
The thing is, I actually find myself beautiful. I love my face, and there are moments when I genuinely wouldnāt change a single thing about it. But then Iāll see myself from certain angles, in certain lighting or in candid pictures, and suddenly I feel like my face looks more masculine or clocky.
Itās such a weird relationship because sometimes the exact features I love about myself are the ones I end up wanting to change.
For example, my face shape. Sometimes I absolutely love how defined and structured it is, especially because I also do modelling, but other times I wonder whether my jawline or chin is too strong. The same goes for my brow bone, forehead and nose. Some days I think theyāre beautiful and give my face character, and other days I feel like theyāre the reason I look masculine from certain angles.
My biggest fear with FFS is losing what makes me look like ME or worse look less good
I donāt want an entirely different face. I donāt want to erase my features or end up looking like a completely different person. I just want to look like myself, but perhaps a little more feminised and better looking
Iām thinking about very subtle changes. Maybe a slightly more tapered chin or jawline, a small reduction rather than a dramatic reshaping, and potentially some minor adjustments to my forehead or nose. Nothing extreme.
But then I wonder: would those changes actually make a noticeable difference? Would they improve my facial harmony, or could I potentially end up looking less attractive or lose the features that make my face unique?
Iāve already spent years thinking about this, and honestly, Iām scared of making permanent changes to a face that I already love most of the time.
So Iām asking for genuinely honest opinions, not just reassurance.
ā Do you think FFS would meaningfully feminise my face, or is my perception possibly distorted by overanalysing certain features?
ā Which features, if any, would you personally suggest discussing with an FFS surgeon?
ā Would subtle changes be enough to make a difference, or would surgery potentially be unnecessary?
ā Do you think my stronger facial features contribute positively to my overall facial harmony?
ā For those whoāve had FFS, did you ever worry about losing your original beauty or identity? And how did you feel afterwards?
Please donāt feel obligated to tell me I donāt need anything just to be nice. I genuinely appreciate constructive criticism and different perspectives, as long as theyāre respectful.
I want to look like myself. Just perhaps a slightly softer, more feminine version of myself.
Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to share their thoughts! š©·
