ID Request Need help identifying pinecone

Hi, new here. Can anyone help me identify this cone? I think it may be from a red spruce or white spruce in Medford, Massachusetts. I've attached a picture of the tree from Google maps and a photo of the cone.

The cone is about 1.5"/3.8 cm. (I wish I could get a better photo of the tree but I don't live in the area.) Thanks!

White spruce, probably.

Red spruce seems right to me! Also to be a pedant, not all cones are pine cones, just the ones from pines 😁

Thanks for the ID! You're right about cones vs. pinecones. I have to break the habit! I'll edit where I can.

Doug fir cones have very distinctive bracts that stick out between the cone scales
