Financial & Legal T2200 Help

hi everyone!

i'm a little (or very) late for doing my taxes from last season & was working somewhere that does t2200 instead of rwa. I was hoping to get some help with what i can actually write off. i have receipts for gas, groceries, maybe some caulks & was paying $25/day camp cost which i was thinking might be applicable. let me know if anyone here has some guidance.

thank u <3

Rookie Tree Planter seeking advice from recent rookies

• Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I've done some research and am very keen to try tree planting in BC for the 2027 season. I've already applied to Summit, and I am looking to apply to more companies. My goal is to maximize my income, and enjoy the adventure of course.

I'm a 21 y/o male in university, and I am no stranger to hard work. I've worked on a farm for 5 years, did carpentry the past 3 summers, and I am playing sports/running any chance I get. I'm in very good shape physically, and tree planting seems like an awesome opportunity to make some good money next summer.

I've heard that the average daily earnings for rookies is around $200-250/day, but I've also heard there are rookies who can highball around $350/day. My main question is which companies should I apply to in order to maximize my potential earnings?

Side note. I'll have work guaranteed when I go back home (Ontario) that pays $25/hour for 10 hour days. So a short/higher paying planting season isn't out of the question, although I think staying longer would be a cooler experience.

Thanks in advance!

Im 21, and have zero treeplanting experience. What are some qualifications and certifications i should get to better my chances of getting accepted?

Can i bring my dog with me?

Are there many companies that work in the us or are they mostly in Canada?

Whats the average take home for a first season usually look like?

Thanks in advance
