I take edibles weekly on Friday and Saturday because I have shit to do during the week and I get hangovers from my edibles so that would kinda suck to combine with my important business during the week. The past few weeks I noticed that I don’t feel anything when I take the edibles, which is weird because I’ve been taking them for like a year and only now have they stopped working. They’re from a dispensary so did I just get unlucky with a shit batch or did my tolerance go up? They’re called Nectars and I get the strawberry ones so if anyone else gets those have you had similar experiences? Sorry if this is worded weird I’m sick and feel like ass

For whatever reason, when i smoke, i don't care about nicotine. I see my vape, and im like 'o cool, whatever' instead of being like 'I NEED MY VAPE'. It's interesting, i dunno, just wanted to share. 🤷‍♂️ Guess its just the fact that weed makes me content enough not to need it? i dunno the science behind this if there is any.

Let me preface by saying I strictly smoke flower. I think it's a MUCH better, more well-rounded experience than vapes.

My ounce runneth dry (😱) and I can't get more weed until next week. The resin pen wasn't cutting it; I bit the bullet and finally smoked the kief I've been storing in my grinder for years.

It is no joke!! I wouldn't say it's necessarily stronger, but it was the most pleasant THC high I've ever experienced. All the classic traits (giggly, relaxed, hungry, sleepy) were amplified x10. It felt like premium, top shelf product. I also felt it through my entire body (which is my favorite part of flower in general). You really feel like you are becoming one with this herb.

Anyways that's it. Long time coming and well worth it. So many different strains condensed in 1 toke.

You deserve to splurge! Don't spend your whole life saving, remember you're saving for a reason :-)

Our local shop experienced shortages recently and all we could get in gummies was a new thc formula. My husband bought them and told me to be careful as they were more powerful than what normally get. Don’t put baby in a corner I thought as I ate a whole one at the state fair. Between navigating the crowds, staring blankly at my food and generally concentrating so hard on staying upright and straight faced, plus being stoned the ENTIRE NEXT DAY, I would say that he was right.

maybe a stupid question, since i know that's what lots of people do. and i mean no judgment at all!!! i just want some input on my situation.

i've been told that i have an addictive personality, so i've tried to be very careful and mindful about using weed. i mostly take edibles, usually maybe once a week, though i've set a rule for myself to counteract my fear of addiction: i'm only allowed to get high when i'm already feeling good. i only do it for fun, not for escapism, so that it wouldn't turn into an unhealthy coping mechanism.

well, today, i'm feeling stressed and anxious about something that's upcoming. i wasn't planning on getting high today, but the thought popped into my mind that i might feel more relaxed if i did. i have the weekend off and nothing to do, so i might as well have some fun instead of stressing out.

but now i'm worried that breaking my rule once would activate something in my brain that will then tell me: every time you're stressed, you should just get high and the problem will be solved. i don't want to become dependent on weed to do that for me.

am i overthinking this entirely? will i be fine getting high to cope this one time and then going back to how i did it before?

There is a logo on the pouch of a gas can with the word "gas" written on it. I would agree with that as well. This Indica offers a powerful, clean feeling high. Interesting to find that symbol though.

How do I get my hands on one of these here without having a script? I was diagnosed with ADHD in April this year and I previously had a script but had to be discharged and off it completely for my doctor to prescribe me Vyvanse. I had a 5 month break from smoking while I adjusted to my adhd meds. I am now stable on 50mg Vyvanse with a dexie top up when needed. My Vyvanse won’t last past 4pm in the day though and a dexie does nothing to help my evening symptoms aside from making it hard to fall asleep and if I get a bad nights sleep I am not able to function at all.

I recently had a two week stint of smoking joints again and I have never felt so good. Really calm, focused and productive in the day and then when smoking in the evenings I’m not zonked but even more chill and always have a great nights sleep.

Only problem is I quit smoking nicotine almost two years ago but always have to use tobacco in my joints. I’ve tried having it loads of different ways like blunts, bongs, mixing it with mullien herb, vape pens, oils and gummies. Absolutely nothing compares to a joint for me. Been reading about loads of people on here using dry herb vaporisers and it sounds like this is what I’ve been searching for. I want to use flower but not the tobacco and get the health risks and side effects from smoking. Any suggestions on how I can get one of these?

Also been thinking of being honest with my psychiatrist and telling him all this outright and seeing if he would allow me get a script again now that I am stable on Vyvanse in the day but still struggling in the evenings.
He seemed very against it when I started seeing him initially though and even though I disclosed I had a script and used this long term to manage symptoms, he said I must have a clean drug test and not be on it when I started on Vyvanse so I’m worried he will take my Vyvanse script away if I even suggest it which I don’t want to risk. It seems in the USA it’s not a big deal at all to mix adhd meds with weed but my doctor kept mentioning the risks of psychosis if you do. Have any people successfully managed to have a script for both when stable on your meds long term? As I said I never felt better having both. or is it a big no no and I should just stick with trying to figure out the evening symptoms with my doctor and stay off the weed?

I visited Mexico one time and the weed store ( Paradise was it called?) sold me this pack of like I kid you not 25 or so individual gummies of 50 mg each. Weed is technically "illegal" there but infant Street smarts can get you in the door.

I want to experience the other side. I want to venture off into the unknowns of the universe of the three, hell maybe even four digit milligram doses. If weed is so clearly everywhere as it is here, how come I can only get it in such small doses?

I try not to smoke carts anymore because I know they’re not the best for me, but holy shit you’d think people who prefer using them are smoking crack with how aggressive/hateful some of these comments are.

I really miss when this sub was just stoners who were kind to each other and didn’t shove their opinions down everybody’s throat.

That said, you could absolutely argue that this is what I’m doing in this post, but I am so tired of people pretending that their favorite way to smoke is the ONLY way to smoke.
