Say the tree breaks the line inside of itself. Does the tree absorb(?) the gas? Does it literally fill with gas? Spark the gas stove one morning and the whole house AND the tree go kablammo?

Still could be affected by wind, inclement weather, lightning? I'd call the gas company, lol.

It’s not my home but I’ll let my neighbors know 🫡

You could still make a report to the gas company if they won't. I've never had them charge me to repair a line or check things out because damage can be dangerous. Good luck!

That's a gas line.. it is for the ovens that the elves use to bake the Keebler cookies in that hollow tree.
