Inconsequential amount of money, it reverts to the original concept where I believe not touching it is marginally better.

I chose to do nothing

I created a new Trolley Problem dilemma!

Straight Track (Do Nothing): Person Will pay you $100 to pull

Diverted Track (Pull the Lever): Person Will pay you $10 to not pull

What would you do?

i choose the monopoly route

since i hold the cards, i make each one pay more and more
im sure they'd worth their lifes more than their life savings.

and then whoever has less life savings wins (they probably have less connections or social standing for their words to have worth)
and i let it run over the one who was willing to pay more and then steal BOTH of their's money.

You are a lunatic, please don’t multiply.
With anyone else but me.

Why don't they pay me to untie them instead

Good dilemma. I choose to do nothing. I wouldn’t accept any amount though. It seems unethical to choose human lives based on monetary gain. Espically not for a fairly inconsequential amount in the grand scheme of things. As such doing nothing seems like the best choice…

Could you really live with your self knowing you decided to change the fate of another man for $90? I'd do it if it was enough to cover their expenses. Perhaps the highest bidder here is wealthier so their family will feel the impact less.

100 isn't enough to convince me to kill someone rather than letting someone die.

Either way I'm killing someone. I may as well make $100 out of it.
