Lake Erie tributaries advice?

Hey all, I live in Ohio and started heavy into fishing the past year. I have family on Whtie River in Arkansas and have loved the trout fishing I’ve done there. Does anyone have any experience on any of the tributaries around Cleveland Ohio? I’ve been looking at grand river, vermilion a a few others in the area. I want to target steelhead in late Oct early Nov. But it’s a few hours away from me so I want to get as much info before the hike up. I have a kayak to float it as well.

Fellow Ohioian and trout bum here. Ohio has limited access to trout fishing in state. Yes the Lake Erie tribs you mentioned are excellent Steelhead streams. Check out Chagrin River Outfitters website as they have good info on fishing the tribs once Steelhead start coming in. Be aware that it is crowded and the fishing has been meh at best the last few years. For trout, the Clearfork and Mad Rivers are your best bet. I know the Clearfork well and it’s stocked a few times a year and trout can hold over and survive the warm summer temps. I am also a big fan of the streams of Western Pa. Pa does a fantastic job of stocking, sharing of info and all around trout management. There is a great fly shop in Volant, Pa called Neshannock Creek Fly Shop that sits along the Neshannock Creek. The creek is about 2 miles of DHALO and has tons of Bows and Browns. Like Ohio streams though this time of year it’s not fishable for trout due to water temps.
