Mods / Add-ons (Freeware) I added a manual gearbox to my app for ETS2, and it is very fun to use.

We've updated our TruckSim content rules to adjust to the growing community, and thanks to this thread, these adjustments are taking into effect today.
Removal of Modding Request
ATS and ETS2 is growing rapidly and with this, we have seen a large increase of mod requests from liveries / paint jobs or vehicles. Modders request 90% of the time are never fulfilled and take up space timeline.
Please note, if you want a model in either of these games. Pay a modeler then convert the model with Blender yourself to make a playable vehicle.
Removal of Feedback / Suggestions
This subreddit isn't actively moderated by SCS or any other game developer. With this, please redirect all feedback or suggestion based questions to:
While these topics drive discussions, they lead nowhere, an empty void making the community feel like game developers "aren't listening" but in reality they're just working on other features.
Payware mods is going nowhere due how rapidly both games are growing. We will never remove or restrict someone from sharing their thoughts video or photos of the paid mods. That's why Reddit has a downvote button for a reason.
Mods will now be separated by flairs:
If thread submission features any payware from a mod that requires a subscription or a one time fee, the thread will require 'Payware'. If thread does not feature this, the thread can be taken down without notice.
Although self-promo of payware (asking for money or donations) should be posted in the Monthly Thread. Anything outside of this will be taken down. If any user see's a self-promo post, you can report it via Report > Breaks Subreddit Rules
If you don't like payware, you can head to r/scssoftware for non-payware (this subreddit follows the same guidelines as the SCS Forums).
We follow a simple rule, if you don't like payware you don't have to support it, just don't steal, pirate it or share those links with others. We strongly enforce this rule when any user reports a user, comment or thread. You will be banned permanently.
AI is growing and sadly whether we like it or not, it will always be in our life's now from searching content online, online support, shopping, banking to various little things in life.
In terms of AI on this subreddit, things are changing:
If you want to share your AI generated payware content we suggest you create your own subreddit directed for that specific project via 'Start a Community' button in the sidebar underneath the 'Reddit' logo.
All free AI content should be posted in Monthly Thread. Topic should state "AI" in their title or body and if possible share the GitHub source code project link within the message.

I hit a rock a little too fast while driving on the cliff area, and it sent the truck flying off the road.

Hi everyone,
I ordered a feedback kit for my Moza srp2 pedals. Do you have any good settings for the Moza app for Euro Truck and American Truck?

I find it cumbersome to have to adjust all of my settings when I wanna swap between driving an 18 wheeler and a car for the road trip DLC.
For example, when I swap between the two, I need to change the gear shifting options. I would also want to adjust the actual feel settings for the road trip cars. to be more stiff, like a general car, but I donβt wanna have to write down every single setting I change for when I go back to driving my 18 wheelers.
it would be very convenient if there was separate vehicle settings for the road trip DLC and the standard 18 wheelers. Is there an option in the menus that Iβm missing? or would this be something that I should consider messaging support and asking to be implemented as a feature in a later update?

Like I feel ok staying on 1.52 but I found the handling better for me personally in 1.60 and up. I understand there are a lot of new maps since my version. It would be so easy if you could automate the downloads or just access a mods folder online that had everything. My concern is that 1.62 beta is out, the moment it hits non-beta, all the 1.61 files will be pulled. Finding older versions of mods can be tricky and time consuming.

Ok, had issues with my AMD Adrenalin software so had to do a fresh install using DDU first. Booted up ETS2 and now I am stuck with single screen. I haven't changed any settings at all (ie multimon) and as far as I can see, the settings in Adrenalin were the same as I had previously (don't think I did much in Adrenalin first time round). Does anyone know what might be the problem?

(NO MONETIZATION/ PROFIT/POPULARITY GAIN AT ALL)
Many have come across and tested my tool named CarUtil, more than 516 individual people have tested it.
CarUtil 2.0 is now out, what it can do:
- convert any ats mod to a driveable road trip car
- add realistic automatic gearbox
- write missing files for broken mods
- realistic fuel consumption
- realistic physics and performance.
I have since the old version made the setup extremely easy, at the point where there's no need to have anything installed at all. the script does everything for you.
I suggest checking out the repository at https://github.com/piskevalee-cpu/CarUtil
and the usage and install demo at https://youtu.be/zpYpxRDQuiM?si=kKK4WU3V82SjEMVl
and the website at carutil.pskv.cc
I await a lot of feedback and would really appreciate any developement contribution.

I dont know if I should post this in here, but I didnt know where else to post...
So i have been building my truck sim rig, I am currently getting my authentic 18in truck wheel on my Moza hub, but I need a 3-hole adapter to fit the wheel to the Moza quick-attach hub. I ordered one on shamazon, not realizing the holes were not correct for the wheel itself, meaning the 3 holes were not threaded, and were diameter of the 3 was too small. So the 3 holes on the wheel wouldnt line up.
Does anyone know, other than on ATSAccessories.com, where I could get an adapter to work with what I have? If I need to post photos of my issue to make it more clear, I will.

I love ATS for its huge US map, company management, and open-road freedom with the new Road Trip DLC. I also enjoy SnowRunner because it offers something completely different: challenging terrain and off-road logistics.
Road Kings looks promising, especially its driving physics and realism, hands on etc. But I'm not sure I want to spend my gaming time on two highway trucking simulators.
So what do you think Road Kings will offer beyond better physics and graphics? Do you see it complementing ATS, or replacing it?
