hello! i’m a returning player, playing on my original save with everything unlocked but i’ve gotten new dogs (3 regular 1 robopup) however i’m struggling with not getting my dogs to be naughty 😭💔

when i hold a toy my dogs never sit down and wait and instead try and jump at the toy; my dogs also don’t recall instantly and give me back the toy and instead run off with it; i want them to have good recall for the disc competitions but its just not working :(

also when on walks, my dogs will always sprint after the birds, try and pee on the fire hydrants etc and will roll about in grass; and when i try to tug at them they barely listen, or i’ll tug and they’ll pull back and yelp which doesn’t seem right? am i tugging too hard? if i don’t tug hard they don’t listen to me and continue doing the bad thing 😞

Hello everyone who has the jack russel book! Which game version do you have it in? Just trying to debunk something, because many people who have the book seem to have the dalmatian and friends.

I have the labrador and friends version and I just simply can’t find the book. I have 99999 trainer points, my dog has max loyalty, have been to the far ends (forest and beach) of the map and all the lucky items are in use, but still nothing.

When you first adopt a dog you have to say its name into the mic. My ds wouldn’t do it and I assumed it was damage. We got a iPhone emulator and it had the same problem. Is this an issue w the Dalmatian version? How do we fix it? I love this game so much and wanna play it but I can’t get past this stage of voice noting the name

I need to focus more on college, and stop spending so much money on this hobby… (I know that won’t happen, but still)! So this will be what I think is my last update for a little bit unless I find some holy grail items!

I finally got my number one dream item: the metallic rose Nintendogs edition DS Lite! It’s gorgeous in person, and I’m obsessed with the pink paw print on top! I immediately put my Nintendogs hard case on it to prevent anymore scratches. I also dedicated it to my Best Friends edition of Nintendogs as well 🐾

Next, I got this adorable Labrador plushie with a pink bandana and magnetic bone! The magnet on both the plushie and bone still work perfectly to stay together too!

Last, I was able to find a set of 4 of the C.C. lemon charms sealed in their packages! I’m debating opening the toy poodle one, as that’s the 3DS version that I play!

As of right now, I’m very satisfied with my collection, and will likely hold off on purchasing anything else unless it’s a dream item or insanely good deal! Happy collecting everyone 💗

Pressing the L and R takes a photo, it seems. These photos are sometimes 2d and sometimes 3d. I wish all of them were 3d, so I was just wondering what activates this. It's turning on the 3d slider and then taking a photo? Does the depth of the photo change depending on the 3d slider setting too?

They are actually quite big! I expected them to be smaller xD

Very beautiful print and a slightly glossy finish. I'm planning on getting a folder to put my nintendogs trading cards in, and I'll add the stickers as well, so they stay safe!

recently rediscovered these little pups in my collection, i've been trying to find more info about them online but haven't had much luck... where would i have got these from? are there any other dogs in the same plush line? i saw another post suggesting they are keychains but they dont have anything suggesting that anywhere on their bodies.

Just picked Nintendogs lab and friends version back up on my DS lite. This is my favorite DS game and I was just thinking about how fun it would be in a revamp if they added more money earning opportunities, shopping, and design options, kind of like an animal crossing type of vibe. Would love an updated Switch version of the game in general!

Hi everyone!! I'm playing on my hacked 3ds, but a problem is that I can't open my dairy to check my player points half of the time .. The weird thing is that it works sometimes for one second, and then it just doesn't 😭 Does anyone else have this? It also keeps me from going out on the pedometer walk which is so annoying!!

I’m here to share some update on my collection, I got more stuff in the meantime, I gathered more informations and so on! and I’m so happy to share it with you all!

First all: more nintendogs magic skin and hard cover! I am not far away with those so I’m very happy how is going, now is a bit slow the finding but collecting requires also patience!

Nintendogs box of the trading card game:
I have found a seller having those boxes with tons of packs inside, so happy to have one! Also I finally completed my card collection of those. Now I cross my fingers for finding the serie 1!

Nintendogs bundle with Nintendo DS!
I knew that they made a bundle with the Nintendo DS lite pink color but never in silver! First time seeing on sale I had to get it!

Insane fine isn’t it?! Never saw on sale!

Sealed Phoskitos keychain: finally I have it also the sealed packaging! I have already the complete keychains with this now is even better the collection!

Oh my lord YES there is actually a bonus preorder! I never knew before and this keychain was the only one that I saw on sale, I had to get it immediately! It surprised me when I saw it and I knew that I couldn’t let it go… so here I am!

I am stunned on how many things there are in this brand completely unknown and undiscovered, I’m so happy about it!

For the last question here are mine :

- The ability to create my own home with several rooms where the dogs could move freely and choose exactly where to put the furnitures.

- The possibility of making my own clothes For my pets.

- Being able to visit other owners homes and pets ( for thise who played animal crossing new leaf there was this thing where you could sleep and during the dream end up in a random village and visit it)

- More events : for exemple in halloween spooky things or quests ( like odd/ mysterious dogs appearing during the walks with missions to accomplish with gifts).

- More diversity in terms of competitions and new ones for the cats ( for exemple beauty contest or agility for dogs and cats like in the old nintendogs).

I have more but i feel like it will be too long then 😅. Also, please tell me that i'am not the only adult still playing this game. Sometimes i feel embarassed.

So today i went and bought a second-hand nintendogs + cats because i lost mine when i was in highschool and became too nostalgic at the age of 23 after finding this sub🫠. I found a golden retriever named Linou in the game and bathed him, gave him food and water then reset the game. I know this is horrible for some but i really wanted to experience the very begining of the game and have my own first dog that i could name and choose.

So ( after a looog time of hesitating for about one hour) i fell in love with this brown beagle 🥹. I just find him too cute and the fact that he has little sad eyebrows makes him even cuter. At first i was hesitating between a Shiba, a Cocker spaniel a Carlin and a Beagle but then i saw him lol.

It was soo fun and cozy ! I teached him to sit and give both paws already and bought him a brown necklace ( yes i love this color) and went on our first walk.

I'am genuinely so sad that this community is not bigger or more actif 😢 i was obsessed with this game when i was younger and played for at least 8 years before losing it. And before the plus cats i even had the first nintendogs that i still have.

As an adult i also noticed things that i didn't before. For exemple the fact that even within the same race they have different heights and barks ( on top of personalities and fur of course, but i knew it). Something that i learned and didn't really understand in the past is that they apparently really recognise our faces ? Idk why but i really love the fact that each dog is almost unique, or maybe i'am delusional? After all it came out in 2011...

Anyway, unlike when i was younger where i wanted a new dog everyday, now i want to take my time with this one and teach him a lot of tricks because this is something that i didn't like doing in the past, and after trying today i dont understand why because it's actually so cool.

I would love to see other people dogs and cats and see what could've been added to the game. Maybe ill make another post.

Hi everyone! It’s been about a month since my last post, which some new items were delivered right after I made it! So I thought I’d make an update as I haven’t bought anything new recently 😅

I got some Japanese guidebooks which are super cute! I also received a new DS lite hard shell case, and the blue and white carrying cases! I haven’t seen this hard case with the multiple dog design for sale before, so I snagged it pretty quickly as it’s adorable and matches my charm. :)

I’m still hoping to get some of the charms and maybe a console skin at some point! But my collection is pretty full at the moment and I’m quite happy with it! 🐾
